Fly Tying Tutorial: The Rabbit Jig Streamer: Clamped Collar Method
Спорт
Recipe: www.flyfishfood.com/2020/01/r...
We use the multi-clamp on this collar to create a very uniform 100% rabbit strip collar without the bulk of the leather from the rabbit. This is a great streamer or Euro style jig streamer fly pattern.

Great pattern - love simple flies like this. I usually tie them unweighted with bead-chain eyes to fish them on the drop in still water. Will tie a couple of weighted ones for river fishing. Thanks for posting!
Can't wait to add this to my euronymphing game. Awesome pattern & tutorial.👍
Great channel! Education and information. I'm new to fly fishing and this helps alot. Keep up the good work.
Nice bunny jig. Cool moustache. Thanks
Really nice pattern, thanks for sharing
This lovely pattern, slight variation, killed it for me at Deer Creek.
Nice tie! You’re killing with with the multi clamp!! The one day I’m not watching my email like a hawk, I see it 3 hours later and they’re all gone! 🤦♂️
Thats a killer little streamer
Awesome bug. Ive added Carp dub for extra movement....pretty killer.
With great zonker strip comes great responsibility.
Looks like trout candy!!
What do the rubber legs add? Water movement? Lateral line? Balances the fly while on the swing?
The dubbing tool you have - does the weight of it add to keeping that loop tight and "locking down" when you move the thread out? I've had trouble keeping the loop tight - even with my finger - and I'm wondering now if it's because i don't have a solidly weighted dubbing tool?

The gator grip tool helps, but I keep my finger on the loop and hold it off to the side. The tool kind of hangs down from my finger. I make sure to start spinning the tool before I move my finger. THe technique is shown here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nqCG1M6bfLLgYtY.html
Are you using a 4 mm "slotted" brass bead on this tie? Please reply. Thank you for posting this video. Lot's of great information. U.S. Army, (ret) TX
