Fly Fishing | Tying OP Prism Torch -- Green River Success Last Video

I was asked by a viewer to tie the experimental nymph that was catching fish on the Green River in my last video. This fly is a variation from my Prism Torch.
The Prism Torch is a variation from the Blow Torch, or depending on how you want to look at it, it could even be a variation from the Red Dart. This fly though is probably closer to the Red Dart style than the Blow Torch style nymph.
I was pleasantly surprised with how well this fly did on the Green River, and it is the fly that landed me the 22" Brown from my previous video.
Great fly, have a great time tying and catching some fish!

I have not tried it yet. The Green River was the first time trying this fly out. I’ll be trying it on other bodies of water also.
Thank you. Andrew, is that brahma hen? have you found a good site to purchase brahma hen soft hackle?

Yes, this is Brahma hen hackle. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find anyone with this particular style of hackle. I spoke with a Fly Shop in California who had Olive and Orange, but not the March Brown and they said they hadn't seen these in stock for over a year. I use a Whiting Farms soft hackle now that is similar looking to Brahma Hen.
