Pryda can install a ''wall truss brace'' into your house wall frames in their factory, you just tell the architect you want your house to have timber walls with ''wall truss braces''. The truck will arrive with all the timber wall frames, with the ''wall truss braces'' pre-installed, and they are cheap. And you can add them to existing old homes.

yup I catch the same fish for more than 3 consecutive seasons (identified through distinctive spots/markings patters) and they are still going strong growing and feeding. I use thin fishing gloves and the fish show zero sign of being caught before or loss of condition so I can say with certainty that as long as you handle fish right gloves are not a huge issue. Just soak them wet first of coarse but if you haven't been handling fish with wet hands in the first place then obviously that's an issue for the fish

I like the new camera angle for some shots. The latest GoPro 9 has horizon levelling up to about 35 Degrees. But amazing still, you can also (in the settings) set it to Lens Mod mode (without needing the actual physical Lens Mod piece) and get 360 degrees of horizon levelling at 2.7K + Hypersmooth ...This basically makes it a gimbal. You can spin that camera while keeping the footage horizon stable.

Another awesome vid Gareth. I reckon the new cam angle is a keeper if it doesn't hamper your casting. But your edits are so good I don't even notice the switching angles. Or maybe I'm just too busy watching your indicator like I'm fishing it myself! Lovely browns btw

Like the new angle, I was thinking of doing that with a 360 cam to get more options but just seemed like a pain. Just clamping my second gopro to stuff next to the river when I think I might catch a fish. Btw how do you find the Hero 9? I am having issues with repeated SD card errors in spite of expensive recommened SD cards. Great brown too. Have to get down there again soon.

I’ve had a few people call me out for wearing gloves as well, so I do my best to handle the fish without them. I think the new camera angle works on some shots, but it does make me a little dizzy and your head is in the way when you land a fish, LOL anyway, I’m telling you this only because you asked :-) love your channel love your videos and I appreciate the inspiration! Cheers!

Those palmless sun gloves don’t seem too bad on the fish slime. Very wet and slick polyester shouldn’t do too much to a fish that’s being handled very shortly. Some people here in the US use these mesh hand bag that somehow pass for gloves. They call them “tailing gloves”. They’re really just for people who don’t know how to handle a fish by the wrist. And they are made of a harsh braided plastic that has had an impact for sure. Just do what’s reasonable and people won’t have any right to complain. Cheers

So you would fish a dry dropper rig most of the time in this situation? I guess my casting needs work as the dropper throws me off. I know I am probably missing a lot of hookups as a result. And I have only been going down to a 4X at most.

Hey Gareth, I was wondering where I might be able to download that sort of beat music you play in your videos, just a few of them, I don't think they're owned by anybody in particular due to the fact I have heard other people use it a lot in videos, and also yes the new angle is good, I would also like to adivse you of a particular spot on the Tongariro - if you go to the Tongariro river lodge or whatever they call it, there is a car park and by that car park, usually sits 15 fish, I'm pretty sure it's on the other side of the island pool- not sure if you fished it before as I haven't seen you do so. But yeah would appreciate if I could download that audio, chur.

Hi Gareth, if you don’t wear gloves when fishing in NZ you must either be an idiot or just don’t give a stuff if you get skin cancer. The precaution also applies to head gear, your ears can get burnt just as much as your face, so you need to cover as much from the sun as you do from the insects; except the damage from the sun is permanent! Take care. Harera....
