We ate outside a lot when we traveled, and with COVID we eat outdoors at restaurants quite often. But flies are always a problem. Not any more. I found something that actually makes a big difference: Fly fans!

Do the fly fans have different settings? Like “low, medium, high” in terms of speed?

Not that we've ever noticed.
Have you tried them at night. Does it help to keep flying night bugs and misquotes away?

No. But since they work by reflecting light off of the little holograms, I doubt that they'd work at night.
I call bullshit. The fans air pressure keeps the flys away, just like southern porches have fans that are not for cooling but for flys, gnats away.
