#wavespey #speycasting: Here's a set of spey casts I developed out of my wave model. It's a new way of thinking and practicing fly casting. Look for yourself. I hope you give it a try. Thanks for watching.

Did u try the bonkerspey method as well?
Very good, Sir. I like it.
Interesting ideas
Thank you Michael!! It’s very interesting & interesting 🤣👍
Wow, your smooth technique has inspired me to revisit my Spey rod and see what more I can squeeze out of it. In the past I was unsatisfied with my results but you’ve given me hope that it’s worth conquering.

That made my day brother, thank you very much. No better compliment. Please stay tuned to the channel. I will try to help you squeeze even more outta your whole casting experience. TL and safe casting.
I am looking forward to trying this with my new switch rod! Been single handed fly fishing for over 50 years but never Spey! It may be my good luck to have found this video before I make my first Spey casts! Certainly looks very interesting and seemingly not too difficult! I suspect timing may be a key element here! Thanks for this!

Moin Michael, interesant und lustich.... :-) wie immer - weiter so. Grüße aus HB
I would think twisting the rod before shooting the line would decrease the amplitude and increase the frequency. Should be able to cast heavier fly, without switching to a skagit.
Very nice will be trying this weekend

Wow! Michael your techniques are amazing and makes everything so much more simple in tricky conditions .Keep up the work 👏👏
Interesting! Do you think the waves disturb the fish?
Michael, does it matter if you are using a Skagit or a 'Scandi' head? I'm looking forward to getting out on the water and trying this, as well as bonkerspey!

Works with any line, shorter ones are easier, scandi or skagit doesn't matter. As long as you find tu he rythm (frequency) to tune yourself in. Thanks a Mio and I hope you enjoy.
Wonderfully inventive! Have you tried it with shorter rod lengths!

Thank you very much and yes, I have tried it with smaller rods, it works the same, but in another frequency that is related to rod length, line length and weight of line outside the tip.
Find it, very interesting, blank rod are also rated in frequency levels Perhaps we should look at loops as frequency wave rod level casting stroke and not as casting strokes 🤔 How about long belly lines or traditional? Looks you get a lot of comments on the subject!
If this isn’t as easy as you make it look , we are going to chat
what rod and line are you using Michael?

The line is a 350 gr snowbee switch line. The rod is one of my prototypes and I can't talk about it yet. It works with any rod and line. If not I recommend to over line if you are practicing. Easier to feel and more enjoyable casting all over with soft rods. At the end of the day it has absolutely nothing to do with rod and line. It's the technique.
Is this effective in calm water without a current like a lake?
@michaelrebholz9843

Yes it works on still water too. Thanks for asking
