It's the same with BTS and as they've spent so much time together that they've now adapted to each other's personality really well. Even though Jin is close to all members but I feel like he's the most close to Yoongi and Namjoon

TTBP I know Jin was given a concept, but it was based on his personality. Jin has himself said that "originally he was quiet and shy", and "always cowering and lacked self-confidence". So I think he repressed his more goofy side, and when he finally gained more self-confidence, he wanted to drop the concept, and then around 2016 BigHit let him.
