Fluffy and Soft Turkish Flatbread :: Grilled Flatbread :: Bazlama
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
*** Please refer to the TIP at the bottom of the expected questions.
I made a soft and soft Turkish flat bread.
The middle of the bread is empty, so it's good to wrap up your favorite food.
Of course, it is light and delicious to eat with just bread.
It is also good for wrapping spicy chicken or roasted meat,
It can also be used as tacos, sandwiches, and pizzas.
*** Weighing is scale (g), rice spoon (tbsp), and teaspoon (tsp).
[6 pieces of 18cm]
✤ Dough
- 500g Bread flour or all purpose flour (4cups)
- 160ml Warm milk (2/3cup)
- 160ml Warm water (2/3cup)
- 10g Instant dry yeast (1.5tbsp)
- 10g Sugar (1tbsp)
- 8g Salt (0.8tbsp)
- 18g Olive oil (3tbsp)
✤ Topping (optional)
- 20g Melted unsalted butter (or olive oil)

As a Turkish myself, so happy to see this video. It's especially perfect for the breakfasts. If anyone would like to try, can put different kind of cheeses inside it or wrap minced meat.

I used only water (as i was out of milk) as well as using 13 grams of salt instead of 8 and it came out so perfect, also added dried parsley flakes to the melted butter😋
Perfectionist Korean culture leads to perfection in everything they do, and cooking is no exception. Wow!
I just made this an hour ago. Since I'm kinda in a hurry, I only proofed it for like 40 minutes, and yet the bread still turns out great! The recipe was soooo simple and easy. Even if it was my first time making it, I totally nailed it. My family loves it too. Will definitely be making this again. Thanks for the recipe!

I made this just now. The dough didn't rise much but I continued. It turned out fluffy. I stuffed three pieces with shredded mozzarella and chopped coriander leaves, then brushed garlic butter on both sides. So delicious! I kept four pieces in the fridge for tomorrow morning.

AMAZING VIDEO...LOOKS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS...THKS FOR SHARING
I love your videos. So simple and yet delicate. Very easy to follow. The breads I make following your recipes turn out delicious. I was just wondering and wanted your opinion on this: I've heard that the percentage of ingredients (which some call it the baker's percentage) depends on the location and kind of environment you live in (e.g. humidity, etc) .. I live in North America and when I use your measurements, I realized the dough becomes a bit drier than what you show in the video. I experienced this following a couple of your recipes ... so every time I have to use a bit less flour .. or a bit more liquid. Any thoughts on this? And if so, what is your recommendation for one to quickly/easily find that bake's percentage? Thanking you in advance :)

Hi from Chch, New Zealand. I see your post, and please note age of flour can make a big difference. Also here we have standard flour, then high grade flour as in baking flour. Both work but as with every Mix, conditions vary and so you need to adjust the amount of water. Don't add all the water, reserve some, then add as needed. Cheers and GO WELL THERE.
