@@deanbrown5160 its called a saucepan because its meant to make sauces hence the higher walls, a pot is too wide and would heat evenly quickly enough to make a sauce, whereas the saucepan can heat quickly therefore making a sauce quicker and taking less space in general because you could make it after the meal. on top of that saucepans have handles and pots do not.

To be fair, most everyday people don’t make their own pancake mix from scratch, most people buy premade at the stores.

So any ingredients that take multiple things to create themselves couldn't be considered one ingredient? Say your recipe called for Whorchestershire sauce, would that not be one ingredient? It is made up of other ingredients itself...

You guys want an actual fluffy pancake using your boring pancake mix? 1. Separate your egg yolks and egg whites. 2. Mix the egg yolk with your pancake mix and milk/water. This is bowl 1. 3. On a separate bowl, put in your egg whites and whip it with your hand mixer until they become like a meringue (yes, even without sugar, that's optional. You can put a tiny bit of cream of tartar if you like) this is bowl 2. 4. Meanwhile, ready a nonstick pan at low heat. take bowl 1 and a good enough amount from bowl 2 and mix together. Now, put in all of bowl 2 and GENTLY fold it in your batter. It should still be fluffy, it's OK even if you have white foamy stuff not mixed well. 5. Put a dollop of the pancake mix on the pan and cook on low heat for 3-5 minutes per side. (use a steel circle mold if you want it perfect) put a lid on it for better cooking. 6. Profit, and with NO waste of eggs too
