***** I was rooting for Manny all night, but it was clear that he lost with or without the shoulder injury. I had Mayweather winning 115-113 on my second review, but I may have been wrong in one round or so, 116-112 or 117-111 at best would've been the more accurate. But on the fight, as lot of boxing experts were shocked, we didn't see the usual Manny being the offensive wizard that he was. He had his moments but couldn't keep at it. It was evident since round 1 that he was having too much of "controlled aggression" throwing lesser punches than normal. His legendary lightning fast feet were not there, he was flat footed and was literally going at straightforward to the best defensive fighter ever, as opposed to his usual movement of side to side, in and out to create angles to throw punches in bunches. NONE of that was shown in the fight. It's not that Mayweather was able to neutralize Pac, he was just gun-shy right from the start and again wasn't using his patented lateral movements, stats show that Pac had career lows in years in almost all of the categories. The "shoulder injury" would've been a legitimate reason if their team played their cards right. Announcing it too late and immediately after the fight and claiming they did enough to win and not giving enough credit to Floyd, doesn't bode well with me. They truly sounded like a sore loser. As Stephen A Smith of ESPN suggested Manny could've said, "Floyd you were the better fighter, I injured my arm but I hope we could do it again and I would be better in that fight" (something like that). Anyways, if they would do a rematch, and this time Pacquiao has been 100% healed, and will fight like the Pacquiao we are accustomed to Floyd, maybe just maybe he will finally get the upset. I would still be rooting for Manny, but like this fight, I'd still favor Mayweather to win via a comprehensive decision. Mayweather may have dismissed the notion of a rematch, but like he said, he contradicts himself, maybe down the stretch he'd reconsider if the money is right. But I won't be disappointed if he doesn't grant Manny that chance, considering how their team is not showing sportsmanship in crediting Mayweather for the win.

Manny didn't seem like Manny as Kirkland didn't seem like Kirkland, Angullo didn't seem like Angullo, Maidana didn't fight like he did the first fight etc.......Floyd is elusive and on top of that out of nowhere you get hit with hard crisp rights when you try to mount an attack making you gun shy....as Pacquiao lined up to throw the straight left Mayweather would unleash his straight right. Canelo did the same thing to Kirkland last night. If Pacquiao came in reckless he would have gotten KO'ed. He did not.

Manny should have brought his ability to constantly pressure him with agressive combinations, instead he tries to outbox Floyd. Floyd handled the pressure with ease and won by doing what he always does. Pacman is a loser for bringing excuses. May is understandably upset but should not react that way to pacmans excuses. Manny is an offensive fighter, leading to him taking more damages through his career than a purely defensive fighter like Mayweather. Mayweather is one of the best if not the best "boxer" of all time. But it will be a different story if he faced a 2008-2011 Pacquiao. Manny is a freaking machine back then.

Floyd changed his style fundamentally as he got older, "Money" and "Pretty Boy" had different styles though mastered both. The thing is if your boxing technique is so flimsy and ill-thought that it falls apart against someone older than you, that's still a failure on your part. Put Manny up against 2000's Mayweather and he'd lose just as easily, if not even more convincingly.

Mayweather the best to ever box. Haters will never understand. Only those who have ever boxed will truly appreciate his craft. He’s been looked down on and always critiqued his whole career, never was he treated fairly, yet he always proved them wrong and continued to stack victories.

Floyd is absolutely right here. I, for one, do believe that if Floyd had lost, he wouldn't have made excuses. He was upset bc he did have a lot of respect for Pacquiao going into the fight, and was taken aback when Manny handled the loss in such an unprofessional manner.

Exactly, we don't need slow motion to see what happened, pacquaio got mopped, and everyones crying because they all somehow expected pac to win, Pac is not a real man for making up an excuse for losing when he taunted floyd in that commercial then got his ass humiliated.

He fought for equality, peace, and rights using his own fame and money not like floyd who just fought for money and himself. That's why floyd will never be the goat because being the greatest is accepted by the boxing fans, which they don't accept floyd.
