Mayweather boasted an impeccable professional record of 44-0 with 26 knockouts, while Alvarez had 42 wins, 30 of which were knockouts, and one draw. The fight was for three titles - the WBC middleweight title, the WBA super welterweight title, and "The Ring" magazine title in the junior middleweight division. This was Alvarez's seventh defense of the WBC super welterweight title and Mayweather's first defense of the WBA super welterweight title. The fight was scheduled for September 14, 2013, and the venue chosen was the Grand Garden arena at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He would have ducked Crawford. He couldn’t wait until Crawford be on a decline like the rest of the aging opponents Floyd had faced, crawford aging like fine wine at 36. I still would have picked Floyd for the win based off his pedigree and defensive abilities.

@@meaningsc.1600 B.S. Floyd fought everyone that was someone, you have to realize that some didn't want to fight Floyd in his prime because they knew it would be a blemish on their resume. It was always a "two way street." Floyd always waited for the money to get right, especially against Manny Pacquiao. Floyd always said Manny would be easy work. The guy is a smart business man that lived on principals. You can't hate the guy for that.

Watch this video at a playback speed of 0.5, and you will truly see how great Floyd is at slipping, parrying, ducking, counter-punching, and distance management. He makes Canelo miss by mere inches.
The announcers going wild while nothing happening, reminds me of that soccer/futbol announcer that yells at the top of his lungs after every kick, doesn’t matter if the kick is miles away from the goal.🤦♂️

La pelea oficialmente la gano Floyd, fue un juez loco que no vio los golpes bien, pero claramente gano Mayweather, ahora mas de eso no lo pudo hacer a Canelo porque si Floyd tardaba un segundo mas o un golpe de mas podria recibir uno fuerte de Canelo, asi que hasta ahi, ademas Floyd Nunca tuvo poder para tumbar y menos a Canelo que tiene buena quijada
