Funny how we see Tyson following the same exact play book. Even down to Frank announcing he might retire again. That’s what Floyd did every single time he got pressure to fight someone he wanted no part of. 2009 it was Paul Williams, Margarito and Pacquiao and in 2011 it was Pacquiao. Doesn’t matter how much money you have you can’t sustain gambling like that. just came to comment the same thing. i think it’s a disease, he can’t stop. you see so many fighters do the same thing but they just do it in real bouts, keep going too long and end up with really bad CTE. floyd loves that game. he’s a master at at and he doesn’t know anything else. his life was (and still is) boxing. it would be like taking crack away from a crackhead.

Tbh Floyd's heyday was so long ago that I've almost forgotten. Most teens probably don't know the legendary boxer he was nor seen any of his big fights. I'll only really remember him as some washed up old fighter who performs circus shows for cash sadly, and less for the amazing boxer he used to be. The crowd was embarrassing. Floyd fanboys like the guy with glasses making excuses. Everyone in boxing knew it was on but didnt care. It could have been promoted waay better for the casuals though for sure. People know they're getting sold a boring mismatch, so aren't falling for it anymore.
