Garlic Vine is beautiful when it flowers, needs little maintenance too. But it is like a wild plant. The plant has "roots" from the stem to climb up. We had to cut and remove after a few years after the roots got attached to the concrete of the roof after penetrating the roofing tiles

They have very strong stem tendrils which help them to climb. It is not known safe to let them climb on buildings.

First you have to root it by potting it in a cover. Once it has established its roots in the cover. You can plant it wherever you want. After planting place it in shade till it develops roots. Take care to make the soil throughout. 😊

In our area vishu plant (kani konna) is growing by its own.. I never had to propagate it. Here it is growing as a wild plant. It can be grown from its seeds.

Thank you madam for introducing garlic vine to us. I have cats claw and bridal bouquet. My cats claw is climbing on our compound wall, in full sun light, planted on ground. It has grown a lot. Gives one or two flower once in a long while. Do you know why it is not flowering? Can you advise me on how to get my pant to flower like yours? Please help
