Tottori Prefectual Flower Park “Tottori hanakairo” is one of the Japan’s major flower park. At “Tottori hanakairo”, the annual flower illuminations started on November 12th.

“Tottori hanakairo” offers seasonal flowers in a landscape overlooking the famous Mt. Daisen.It is a flower paradise that you can enjoy all year around.
In the center of the site with a total area of 50 hectares, there is a dome-shaped glass greenhouse with a diameter of 50 m and a height of 21 m, which contains tropical and subtropical plants such as palm trees and about 1,000 different types of orchids. It blooms all year round.
The main flower of “Tottori hanakairo” is lily.
You can enjoy more than 100 varieties of lilies all year round.
The theme of this year's flower illuminations is "Smile～Let's deliver a shining smile".The staff of the park wants customers who see the flowers and illuminations of the park to smile.
Flower Illuminations will be used in all areas to create illuminations with a million lights. The approximately 80,000 ㎡ garden that surrounds the observation corridor is lit by 14,000 lights, creating a fantastic night garden.
On weekends and during the year-end and New Year holidays during the illumination period, about 400 fireworks are set up every day, and a cute glittering flower train with illumination decoration, which is very popular with small children, also operates every day.
