Really like this block. Showed it to a new quilter in our group and it was her favorite of all of our show and tell. I made it in 2 1/2" squares, too . Thanks for the demo.

Loved this block. Would like to know how you did the binding though. Is the back just turned over the front or is it an added binding??

I made a sandwich, quilted it and sewed on the binding. Perhaps I didn’t understand your question, we communicate through a translator.❤

I really enjoyed this, what was the measurement you ruled your lines, is it a half inch.

Yes, half an inch. Make sure there is a 1/4 inch seam allowance on each side.

Oh, this gave me an idea. What about using man ties to create the petals ? I have a bunch of ties with sentimental value and I’m looking for an idea (beside Dresden).

Corner blocks are trimmings from half-square triangles

Very nice block .but you should never use your rotary cutter towards your hand you should always go up with your cutting so you don't cut your other hand I did that and now I will always cut up

I also like it without the sharp points - looks more like a flower that way. Sharp points would make it look like a star.

I like the way the points are "cut off" it gives the petals of your flower a more rounded look.
