Years and years ago, I bought a beautiful red tabby persian kitten...but didn't realize the amount of attention and care needed and he was unhappy being left while I was absent for work/commute. The amount of brushing and grooming is insane, which was never an issue for me, but he grew increasingly resentful being left alone most of the day. When he was 10-months old, I reluctantly rehomed him to a wonderful family that worked from their home. They adored him...and he adored them. The point is that I'm glad that they are ensuring the families who adopt these cats know what they need and are capable of being caretakers, potentially without additional support.

Praying that they all together and have a loving and furrever home like what she want and wish and they will love them like I love my 10 cats all my heart

I hope they get adopted out in pairs based on someone taking the time to figure out which ones may be most bonded🤞🏼

Unless she stated otherwise in her will, it seems to me that she didn't want them separated? I mean leaving $300k to them seems like she was hoping the cats AND money would go to the same owner. Possibly. Not splitting up $300k only to have each cat go to 7 different owners.

All seven cats should get a great home. The money would be used on vet bills, food and care.

I have done the same, for my fur baby!!! If something ever happen to me i want him to be okay. May she rest peacefully knowing her babies are okay!

Reminds me of the movie *The Aristocats* , taking place in an alternate timeline where the French Revolution never happened and a Duchess owns a cat family (with an intact mother) she wrote into her will

I am an orphan old lady who loves cats, but I only rent a room. I would love to adopt them, but I don't have a proper home for them.

She could have at least left her money to where the cats were going; the shelter. This helps get homeless animals good care. Or divide it between homeless pets/people.
