more like pokey, I'd say. Mason was like the grandpa that sat back waiting for the kittens. pokey and turtle are aggressive in their pursuit for kitten company 😁

I just fell in love! What a sweet kitty. They way he and the gray one snuggle together is just precious.

Just rescued a 4wk old kitten from a high kill pound. She smacked and hissed a lot the first day. She is so tiny and hisses and lunges at our 75lb Pit Bull. His feelings are hurt every single time and he hides behind me crying 😬

For taking her down you can wrap her up in a purrito (towel). Just hold her close & fed her little treats. There's this lickable cat food treat that would be great because you squeeze a little but at a time out & let them lick it off. Otherwise just be persistent and she'll get used to you sooner or later. You might check out the kittenlady videos or tinykittens. Tinykittens are well known for rescuing not just feral kittens but also convincing the moms that they no longer want to be feral.

Try giving them both treats when together and extra petting (if possible with the tiny ferocious tiger!😁) They will associate being together with something positive. You have a great dog. Many dogs would have attacked the tiny tiger by now.

Kotani Yumiko you know, they might’ve adopted/found the cat and took it in and it was pregnant. There’s no shame unless it’s intentional, and in most cases it isn’t. don’t shame unless you know the whole story. 😌

I fostered 3 2 week old kittens back in April 2020. It was my first attempt at Fostering. Well, its August 10th 2020 now & I'm happy to say 1 of the kittens was adopted & the other 2 were my FOSTER FAILS! I just couldn't give up the silver & black kittens. They are litter mates, but they are both solid colors except they both have this lil' tiny white spot under their chins. I had to keep them. My name is Brennen Steele so I named the silver one Steele & the black one Jett! I don't know who rescued who during this nightmare pandemic, but 4 months later I couldn't be a happier Daddy! I don't care if people call me a Foster Fail. I'm proud of it!!! XOXOXO

It's always a struggle having to say goodbye to foster cats & kittens. Over time, each one is so special to one's heart.

His heart is bigger and stronger than his deformity.

He looks so much like a little kitten that came staggering down my driveway 10 years ago. She was about 5 weeks old, full of fleas, hungry, and had obviously been in a fight or two. I fed her, gave her a bath and de-flead her, took her to the vet, and she has been an amazing friend all these years.

It was exactly the right decision to keep him.

I love these stories, it’s rarer for a male cat to take care of kittens but he’s like Grandpa Mason (may he rest in peace) and Pokey. They help the human fosters too. They’re being brought up well by humans and cats and heck, sometimes doga join in. I also checked on kitten lady on Instagram and apparently her cat Fergie (who was adopted by her after being given a short life span due to kidney issues) has been helping take care of some puppies she’s fostering. Watching people foster along with pets joining in to help has been a fascinating experience. Parenting is such a strong and amazing instinct. Not everyone or every species shares it. (I’m not in a situation where I can foster but I would if I could).

People whom rescue and take in special needs animals are the best.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗💋💋💋

What a doll. We have a little man that could pass as his brother and is just as loving. He always has to be near one of us. He was the runt of the litter and would not have made it without his older sister. Full genetic sister but one year older. She demanded he be let out of quarantine so she could take care of him. They are inseparable now.

I have to admit I too am a foster failure and don't regret it at all. He's my sweet boy and always will be.

He is a wonderful caring cat. You are a wonderful caring animal guardian.
