I have to say I love your background music! I love that I can still hear you talking while it plays, it's a really nice effect! Jus' sayin'! This was a great video, I used to live in White Springs, which is not too far from Lake City. Loved it there and did lots of exploring when I lived there!

I really enjoy seeing placed places like this especially the ghost town and haunted civil war hospital there in Jasper i think i have seen the hospital on several paranormal shows on KZread before and it is really interesting to hear about thanks.🇺🇲🛣️🇺🇲

That watertank you saw in Madison is called a stand pipe very old and very rare l think their only two in the state of Florida and you saw one great video and many thanks 😂😂

I did not know Tallahassee was as hilly either until I went to FSU there in 1971. I did not have my license yet and my boyfriend (now my husband for 50 years) taught me to drive his stick-shift and I kept sliding back down the hills! I finally got the hang of it. Love your Florida Roadside Attractions videos!

Great video! Like all your videos. I will say when doing abandoned places, here in Florida or anywhere, you should always have a friend with you. I can only say for Florida, there can be some sketchy people in some of those places.

I was a little kid visiting my aunt's home. Richmond Va. There was a blood stain in the living room. It was once a civil war hospital. I played dolls with the girl in the white nightgown. Just kidding about that last part😮 Super cool memories as a kid. My brother and I collected bullets in the backyard. The house was torn down years later.

Oh, wow! We live in Jasper! Wish we had seen you out and about in our hometown. I definitely would have pulled over and gotten a selfie with ya! The iron stars that you mentioned are steel reinforcements rods. That red brick wall has little strength by design. I love these places that seem like time capsules of Florida past.

Love your videos! I’m from Central Florida currently living on the West Coast.

Hi Jay. I lived in Live Oak from 1953 to 1958 or so. Spent much time hunting and camping in Suwannee Springs, Ellaville etc. Was able to go into the remains of the Drew Mansion before it burned. Seem to recall that it had a cellar that may still be visible. My brother and his atty. friend from Jasper toyed with putting a restaurant on the S Spgs bridge but being on the Suwannee River it wasn't doable. Suwannee Springs was a very popular resort in the late 1800's. You may want to do a vid in the White Spgs area. Tks for the memories!

Great video Drew Mansion can be a little hard to find. Took me a few trips to find it.

When you got out of the mansion, in the driveway when you were saying you were a Yankee the birds stop chripping. So weird!😱

They should remake Jeepers Creepers and film it right in JASPER, you have all the abandoned buildings and vegetation so you don’t need to build a soundstage in a Hollywood backlot

you couldn't find the mansion..but you were in right spot. decades worth of sediment have covered the true location. that other Mansion that served as a hospital..now that was intetesting.your Deep divers into old Florida have really got my interests up for more in the much a head.

You could try to find the mansion ruins again in winter when the vegetation dies down. It might make it a bit easier to spot the remains.

The Quiet Place bridge…wow I thought the same thing immediately seeing it! By the way seen the new one Quiet Place Day One and it was good but still like the original the best…Joseph Quinn did a great job in the new one too!

The Florida Capitol building is 22 stories high . The top floor is an observation floor where you can view the area in every direction. On a clear day you can see the coast.

I am sure that was not the only spray can left behind I bet all the others went into the river.

I believe I’ve driven by that big red structure a few years ago. Florida has many buildings that are hidden in plain sight, you just have to be on the correct road.

I’ve seen that bridge! I think it was someone else filming . I don’t remember all that paint. Maybe another one.

That house that was big after the barn where you heard the water dripping actually wasn't that bad inside considering all the overgrowth outside.

Amazing to see just how many of these sort of towns exist all over the US….Loss of Jobs 8 guess So many people have left small towns go the city and not come back

You need to check yourself for ticks after wandering through the woods! There’s a tick that causes a kind of gout that can cripple you!!!

Next town over from Madison is Monticello Florida a big ghost town with a big history

Tampa Jay there was another Civil War battle fought south of Tallahassee. The Battle of Natural Bridge just outside Woodville Fl. Because the Confederates won Tallahassee was the only Capital that didn't fall to the Union

For your safety you should have a face mask to wear while in those abandoned homes. More than likely black mold is present amd not good to be exposed to
