We used to swim and water ski in Lake Monroe in the seventies but it was a rare thing to see an alligator back then no way I would do that now

Make no mistake about gator time. I had two very large gators aggressively swim right towards my kayak while fishing mid day in Florida this spring!

We use to swim, jet ski, water ski, and have all kinds of fun in lakes down in FL. Never had any issues before. But then again we weren’t alone at 2am. Seems like gator attacks are becoming more common now though.
