When this all comes in I honestly don't believe it will lead to working / middle class families paying more tax. Just my opinion. There will be different amendments to ensure tax on people doesn't go up but corporations pay more tax. I hope so anyway. Good Luck

Lord please help some people look instead of just listen. 1. It doesn't go into effect until next June. 2. There is a way out of it. 3. Only 100 people actually live in that district (it's not all of Disney)so Disney will be paying the city, county, and state for it. The same amount of jobs will be needed so no one is losing their job. I know it's hard for you to accept the truth but, most people in Florida agree with this. We do not want special circumstances for some and not all. Busch Gardens and Sea World are doing just fine. People are flocking to Florida because of our governor and our ethics.

#3, Disney is in Orlando, orange county, now everyone in Orange county will have to pay for roads and public services around Disney that Disney was paying for by itself. It spreads the expense around to everyone in Orange County.

I don't think folks understand the ramification of what this means. I do agree that companies should not be given special privileges and that we should work to reduce that, but the issue is that Disney pays for a lot of the county's amenities such as power, water, roads, and emergency services. It pays for this as part of the deal that it made to get the self-governance. With this ending, it means that the other counties will have to help pay for these services. Then there is the issue with the bond liabilities. Florida will have to pay for this as a result of the district being dissolved, which is going to hurt tax-payers' pockets.

When you're that drunk on power, you're are bound to destroy yourself with a fatal mistake sooner or later. That is how karma works. I'm only worried about how much he can and will destroy for others before it happens.

Here in Baltimore, Hopkins Uni keeps pressuring the city to allow Hopkins police force to be incharge of the city blocks around the University. This means people who live in, own property in that area will not be beholden to the city police, but to the Hopkins police. Of course city leaders are fine with this. Well... it may not be as bad as you think. The agencies/companies that work the public works/utilities in the district will probably keep the contracts they had with Disney. Obviously the State will now pay for those services, and hopefully the property taxes won't have to be raised on locals if they maintain the same contracts.

They’re probably not gonna renew his contract either but as the repeal for their tax incentives goes into play what they get in tax breaks they foot the bill for a lot of local cities and counties in resources now the state will have to pay as a corporation they’re not obligated to do and if they get contested to do so in court..well they have the financial resources to drag it out for a long while

They formed a county or "special district" where the only thing inside it was Disney world. It doesn't pay orange county taxes because it's Reedy Creek, not Orange County. The only tax payer was Disney world. I think it's been pretty well explained.

I don't think folks understand the ramification of what this means. I do agree that companies should not be given special privileges and that we should work to reduce that, but the issue is that Disney pays for a lot of the county's amenities such as power, water, roads, and emergency services. It pays for this as part of the deal that it made to get the self-governance. With this ending, it means that the other counties will have to help pay for these services. Then there is the issue with the bond liabilities. Florida will have to pay for this as a result of the district being dissolved, which is going to hurt tax-payers' pockets.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Central Florida - Joe does not. Disney does not have a good reputation here. Most of their employees are paid poorly, while they charge 25 bucks a day for you to park your car or motorcycle in their parking lot - 45 to 50 bucks if you want "Preferred Parking." Then they have outrageous admission prices - 104 bucks a child, 109 an adult. But the big point Joe is missing here is that Disney has vowed to overturn our recently passed "Florida Parental Rights" bill. My kids are young adults now. I'm glad they didn't have that sexual stuff shoved down their throats in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade, and my future grandkids won't have to worry about it either, which is the purpose of that new law. But Disney, by wanting to remove that new law, is saying they want that sexual stuff crammed down the Kindergarteners through 3rd Graders throats. Gov. DeSantis is simply staying one step ahead of Disney.
