I've always adored this painting. I don't think of it as dividing the canvas...it all lives perfectly together.
Very nice, my favorite Magritte is a boulder looking at the view from open french doors.
This was very, just very amazing.
I get lost in Magritte's images...otherworldly and fascinating.
Magritte was my favourite when I was 12 and went with my class at the Peggy Guggenheim museum in Venice where another version of the painting is exposed.
