The way she starts out singing the first half of the song fairly subdued, then just blasts you starting at 2:23. Careful, FATM can deliver quite a jolt!

This will always be my favorite performance by Florence. Still gives me goosebumps years later.

I refuse to profess love for a singer/band until I hear them perform live. There is too much computer synthesizing going on these days. If I hear them live and they are f*^@ing awesome then I know it is true love. She is one of those performers.

+Nathan Robertson It's not necessarily about that she felt like she was wearing him out and she felt like her baggage and her issues were pulling him down so she felt like she was heavy like she was a weight on him and it may not even have been that big of a deal to him sometimes when we love somebody we feel like our insecurities and our issues are burdens on them hence why she says at the end he never let her feet touch the ground because he carried her out of love

Her kiss with a fist days were so much more than that though. Lungs was an amazing, deep and emotional album with many great songs. Her two newest albums actually weren’t as strong (as Lungs and Ceremonials) imo.

No matter how many other things I listen to, I continually come back to Florence and this particular performance. It was by far one of her best throughout the Lungs era. Possibly even surpassing some Ceremonials concerts.

You can cheer at the right moment. Before she begins or after the song is over. Demonstrate your excitement in those times as much as you want but the correct thing is to stay quiet while she and her team perform. Not a rock concert you know
