I loved the final composition, especially the values and tones. I live on the Isle of Man, a small island in the middle of the Irish Sea 🤗

I preferred the darker palate, with the burgundy tone and darker green, with the five flowers cascading down the page. I do love that pale blue for the anemones. I love the tapered brushes, I need to get some new ones like those! I just love watching you paint with them! You are a great teacher. I live in on the central Oregon Coast in Florence, Oregon and have lived in the mid Willamette Valley for most of my life. It's beautiful here! I have done watercolor, acrylic, and oil painting but my favorite is water color. I have done mixed media pretty much all my life, although I didn't know that was what I was doing! Water color is the most challenging, I think.

I think that the piece you chose is your safe zone. I actually liked the diagonal one and if you had evened up the colours so not dark lighter light it would've been very nice! Ink now we all have our comfort zone it's definitely not a criticism but would be nice to see tutorials of different style comps 😊 I'm UK

I like both compositions and i agree that you needed the darker color in the middle of the lighter colors in the zig zag one. I really like that you added some blue white mix to the blue flower in the second layer. I am watching from Plymouth MA land of Thanksgiving and an underwhelming rock.
