This is one of the BEST video illustrations of how to replace/build vehicle floors! You three (yes, Supervisor Boo, too!) show the true VALUE of having the BEST LIGHTING! It's so boring to watch other folks monkeying around with floors....in near darkness! That Arizona sun is your friend in the lighting department. I was transfixed to watch you all. It was PLAIN AS DAY to see what you were doing and see how your were thinking and planning as you went along! Simply outstanding video! Aloha!

Good work, guys! I like the way you work-not relying on pre-manufactured floors. Looks like something I'd do.

Do you two ever argue? It seems like you never have harsh words in your videos. That's not human. Your Dad seems like he has the patience of Job. He has done a great job of transferring his knowledge to you. It's really fun to watch you guys work.
Looks like a lot of hard work but it definitely paid off in the end. Enjoyed this video can’t wait for the next.

Love you guys tackling the problems together, you’re setting a good example for the rest of us. So many mechanics are completely self willed (and a lot have to be that way) but it’s refreshing to see team work 😌😀
Travis, you guys are amazing to watch! How many vehicles I have had through the years that were destroyed like the ones I'm watching on you tube! You make it look easy, although I know it is far from that! Ah, the wonders of time lapse photography! Can't wait to see the finished product.

Yes time lapse works wonders. It’s much tougher than that lol
I can’t stop watching the El Camino build. Seriously, love watching. One thing that would help me in the future is to put the episode number in the title. I’ve been using the dates to figure out which one was next. Not totally successful and took a good effort to get the order correct. Still it’s been worth the effort. Thanks guys!
Really liked how it turned out, good job, guys

Nice to see you fixed the floor the proper way, not by riveting old license plates like some KZreadrs seem to do...
Looks great! Watching the el camino series instead of the superbowl. Much more entertaining!
Well done on the job of explanation and repair. My dad had it 4 door belair 1960. You always did love that car and I asked him one day how a few years ago why you stopped driving it. He said he's afraid he's going to fall through floorboards!! He never did get around to fixing those floorboards. It still sits out by the barn because it had a brand new GM replacement windshield put in it that was New Old stock back in the 80s. . He had looked long and hard to find one and it seems to be easier to find replacement parts now that we have the internet. Well I like your fancy metal working tools. A large jaw vice grip rail section and a two-by-four. Years gone by we've been known to use two of those two-by-fours. Those rail sections of handy. Good see somebody using creativity.
Back in the 70s this what you did - minus the welding! Drilled a lot of holes and screwed it together. Worked though. I got a hardware store to bend sheet metal for me based on a paper pattern I gave them. Fit like a glove!
Really coming along nicely Dynamic Duo 😁👍👍👍👍
These guys are automotive artists
Frugality and technical expertise allows the money to go for other things. Great video'; thanks for sharing.
Great job guys ,looking forward to more
I was waiting for updates on the el camino.... its coming along nicely sir 👍👌
Great to see these hands-on fabrication videos.
Great work guys! I particularly like the fact that you butt welded in the floor pans = no rust causing overlaps! And top marks for keeping the guard on the grinder and using PPE.
I used to love doing metal work when it came to fixing up old cars. Unfortounantly a accident when I was younger I lost all that memory on how to do it. I still try but my skills are not there anymore.
Nice work on the floors and give your supervisor a treat from me 🇩🇰
You guys done really good work with just minimal tools. Nice job
I love what you are doing. I could honestly watch this all day. Of course the metal floor bought from the catalogue would be easier and more expensive, but all that fabricating skill would have gone to waste. You both rock on the cutting and welding the bends in the pans. We used to put in metal with self tappers and fibreglass/Bondo the seams and get away with it, but now they changed it to having to be welded in and all metal. NO SCREWS! You could try some of that rust restore stuff in those channels. It is an acid and turns rusty metal black, restoring it to some stronger metal again. Forget what it is called. Subscribed and ready for the next one.
