In this case it has nothing to do with the dam being old, it's too much water period.

@@redbarchetta8782 Correct. The water did not burst through the dam, the volume was so great it went around it on the west side.

I'll probably go out and eat at the dam store if it survives, because these people will have to build a new house... man it just sucks

More than 2017-2020 combined I absolutely guarantee. Took a wide-awake White House to do it.

Well that picture is old you can see under the house with part of the foundation gone. I feel so bad for that family.
