    This is so weird. Here in the Philippines where it should always be raining, it's so hot and hardly ever rained. April heatwave is something we have never had before. Temperature daily is 35C which isn't normal to us.

    Dude it rains more because a warmer atmosphere holds more water vapor (about 7% more per degree of warming). Thats due to the "Clausius Clapeyron" equation. Plus warmer temperatures lead to more water evaporation.

    The heavier rain is mostly condensed water in a warmer climate. Yes, melted ice increases the amount of water to condense and then rain down, but on a global scale im sceptic if this part of global warming plays a part here.

  • @roulam3001

    @roulam3001

    Please don't blame rising sea levels for everything and educate yourself, otherwise you'd look like (with great respect) an ignorant . The cause of the floods was due to what's known as a "Low-Pressure Sandwich" (otherwise known as a Storm Sandwich, an area of low pressure sandwiched by high pressure on 2 sides) Basically, an area of a large wind system that rotates about a centre of high atmospheric pressure (otherwise known as an anti-cyclone) acts as a wall and prevents wind, clouds and any type of precipitation from passing. Low pressure magnifies and enhances cloud formation (eventually turning to thunderstorms during the spring and summer). So when an area of Low-Pressure is sandwiched between two anti-cyclones, all the rain that could've formed would be concentrated on the Low-Pressure system. In this case, the Low-Pressure system over Western Europe was sandwiched between two anti-cyclones, one above the Atlantic Ocean around Lat.: 48°13'N / Lon.: 23°33'W, and the second one was above eastern Europe. So all the rain that formed couldn't hvae move as anti-cyclones prevented these storms from moving anywhere else which concentrated all the rain on a single spot. Now whats scary is that the CAPE index (The amount of energy present in the atmosphere that can be used for convection) was only between 100-800J/kg when these storms happened. During the summer much more energy (1000+J/Kg) can be present which means if the same Storm sandwich happens to occur during the summer in temperate regions, you'd become thankful and see how damaging they could get.

    1:16 The man says that it is "our fault". That's called a propagandized mind. There's been a war on farming. Notice any rise in food costs? Geoengineering (chemtrails) is certainly a consideration. One Nobel Laureate said that in a room 20m x 20m x 10m high lighting a single match would equal anthropogenic (human activity) climate change.

    Enviromental Change - sure the entire world needs to look at that. In the meantime every municipality and province *needs* to look at drainage and water flow. Population numbers have increased expotentially yet the villages, towns, cities are still mostly using drains (and sewage!!) systems that are 50yrs out of date and not able to handle the local population. Same thing applies to dam and river embankments, overflow and diversion flow - these all desperately need to updated. Vote GREEN if you want to but unless an actual *hands on practical plan* is immediately implemented ~ disasters will continue no matter *who* is in charge/power/government!!

    A further deterioration in the situation in Europe could result in a significant exodus of European talents, intellectual families and even assassination criminals to countries such as New Zealand, Australia, Canada, America and China.
