Climate change causes floods? Ok but i heard the narrator say in some regions this is the worst flooding since the 1950s. So was climate change worse in the 1950s? There was also more carbon and higher temperatures hundreds of thousands of years ago but humans weren't using fossil fuels. These things among other factors and the green scams make me continue to be skeptical.

Certainly, we need to see floods that break all time records, and not just in a few places, they need to be all over the world. And not just floods either, hurricanes, tornadoes, heat waves, and droughts too. And they need to continue to break the records set by previous years back to back to back. Otherwise I’m skeptical.

We used to live in a typhoon (hurricane) prone country so our parents made sure that our metal roof is VERY securely attached to the beams. Fortunately, our place does not flood so no need to elevate the foundation. People should think about these things to keep them safe.

You do realise, I hope, that we have only been measuring temperature accurately since 1979 - less than 40 years. Or what about sea temperature? Up until VERY recently, someone literally threw a bucket overboard with a rope attached to it. The bucket was pulled up and a thermometer was shoved into it...that passed for recording sea temps! We have no idea at all (before the internet, which is only 30 years old, and very little idea until KZread) what disasters were occurring around the world, apart from word of mouth. If you research (Statista) the cumulative number of floods, storms, extreme temps, and droughts, you'll see that the number is actually DOWNWARD. You should also be aware of how these data are arranged. 'Extreme damage' is taken as anything which affects as little as 10 people (yes, really). So a small village in Outer Mongolia that had 9 people in it, would now (with a population of 1,000) be recorded as an event. And yet STILL the data is downward!!! Tornadoes, cyclones, and hurricanes are all DOWN. Sorry, but you have to research better. What you're being told is not true. The TV and media in general loves catastrophism, and governments love it because it means they can control the populace. The data, all available online, tells a completely different story. Global precipitation (rain) is up slightly. But again, we're recording it much better than we did, so we cannot really say that this is accurate with the past. Floods have always happened, and always will. What you believe from the media, and what is real, is two very different things.

Over the last 30 years, ocean temperatures have increased by 450%. With intense evaporation, huge masses of water are falling as rainstorms and causing floods. Half the world is now drowning and half the world is covered in forest fires. Previously, the ocean used to cool the planet and remove excess heat. But now, due to pollution by plastic and garbage, it has "broken down" and can no longer cope with its functions. This will lead to a further increase in natural disasters.

Yes, if you dont mind rotting human and rotting pig in your water. Seriously, though, this is not water collecting opportunity. Floods like this destroy water holding capacity by breaking dams and washing out levees and canals. Its too much flow for the infrastructure to contain, so it breaks.

This has got to be the massive tonnes of water spewed into the atmosphere by the Hunga Tonga volcano. That water had to fall somewhere. The water around the volcano is naturally hotter and the explosion was HUGE.

The philosophers Plato and Aristotle, the science of Euclid, Pythagoras, the historian Theucidides, Homer's epic, etc. etc. provided the basis of western advancement, art, culture and science, so it would be a fair assumption to say that western civiliization had its start in Greece, which of course no way discounts the achievements of the Egyptians, the Babylonians, Persians, etc. who were extant before Greece was founded.
