The homeless man is well known and liked locally. That is his (almost) permanent mooring. A very interrsting man. He likes Radio 4 and cider, and may soon be moving to an appartment, if he can settle to it

You put a ton of hard work into these videos to get the best camera angles, very much appreciated.

@@FoxesAfloat much better thanks mate. That's how I came across you guys, I have PTSD and while homeless slept next to a river because the sound of water is soothing (dont need to tell you I'm sure). I started planning on buying a canal boat and been watching you lads since.. very soothing viewing when I'm struggling, you're actually a big part of my life 😳😂

Having personally experienced homelessness in the past, thank you for being so very kind to the homeless person. As always huge respect to you both.

Thanks for the great shots of results of the storm. Also thanks for just accepting the results of the storm and carrying on with life with no drama (except for those generators that seem to grow on the tow path), you need to find some type of spray to kill them off. Glad for you all, enjoying all that life brings along the cut.

You two are very hilarious AND interesting! I loved all the swans in the waters of Stratford! Incredible that the swan couple came to the boat's window to say hello and get a bit of food! Dillon is so cute! Lovely, wonderful dog! KUDOS to you both!

The only time I’ve visited your handsome and lovely land was in 2014. The day I arrived the weather had changed from short sleeves and shorts to windy/cold/rain. BUT I must tell you that flying over the whole of England from west to east, I was absolutely astonished at the number of canals, rivers, streams, rivulets - good Gawd just water everywhere! The beauty from the air is ab fab. I visited Stratford Upon Avon - went to the National Theatre there - got a ticket at the last minute and saw David Tennant in Richard III... couldn’t believe my luck. I’d taught English Lit. for a number of years when first out of university. It was just a thrill to see the Bard performed by the likes of David. His power and vocal delivery just filled the auditorium.

Love the new puppy Otis. The last two of our four dogs have been rescue dogs and we got them as puppies. Millie was about a year old and Abby was 10 weeks old when we got her. She is now 8 years old. They do become part of the family very quickly.

Colin & Shaun.... Find myself rewatching several of your vlogs. No particular order. Remember seeing this one before, but still find it interesting, watching the flood waters rise in the basin. Beautiful scenery as you leave Stratford, getting out into the country and the multitude of locks you had to navigate. Always enjoy Colin's commentary as you motor along. My Foxes Afloat hoodie arrived today. Will enjoy its warmth on cold nights (if any more of those come along this winter here in SoCal); or on chilly foggy mornings, etc. Cheers

I am an American Army Brat, had 2 Photos of the Statue in Stratford on Avon of my dad, mom and I taken in 1955 or 1956, I finally got to see it in color. Just found this and subscribed today and love it.

Great vlog as usual and it was a nice thing to do to give the homeless chap the pastry and short bread because what you put out in life comes back to you good for good bad for bad he must have had a rough time of it during the storms so hope he's ok . Safe cruising lads .
