Just discovered your KZread page thru your Ultimax 18” first install video.. gotta say, this is prob one of my favorite home theater stories/videos I’ve ever watched!!! I love how you incorporated DIY with quality stuff and how you explain things so clearly!! I swear your basement is exactly what I hope to achieve one day!! Found ur channel on ur original home cinema videos. For some reason u where on top of the audio related category on KZread at the time lol. Was actually the first time i got introduced to the concept of a home cinema like this, we simply dont have those in Europe. Beautifully done again, something like this really has become a dream of mine to one day built myself. Enjoy!

I can't help but to fixate on what caused the copper pipe to burst like that?!

We had about 36 hours of -19f degrees and winds averaging 40+ mph. I didn't have the heat on in the theater (hot water fed baseboard located against the corner of a foundation) and it froze. We've never had any problems before, but we also rarely get that cold, for that long + wind that really pushed the cold air in. Lesson learned!

No, I gave up on the 3rd back and fourth with the FAA. Really disgusted with how that whole thing was handled on their end and the months it took just for them to come back and ask for another test or document.

@@Trialnerror i understand, and really feel for you. You would be a very good pilot because you do your research and think things out. As a pilot one facet is about risk mitigation. You are well suited at that. 😀🛫
