I remember hearing a live version of the song where Dave introduced it to the crowd saying "This song is about a woman named Laura. Unfortunately she's no longer with us. Her names still Laura though." Perfect sentiment for introducing a beautiful celebration of a life.

I had a friend with benefits named Laura. She showed me this song a week before she moved far away. I felt setup but in a good way. That was almost 5 years ago. Feels like time just melts away.

It's hard to say.. But I heard this song the first time this year... Nearly 14 years after... It's sad because I wasted years of my life without it...

I could've danced on the sun when I was with my ex Laura, but then it all fell apart. I love listening to this song, makes me remember the good times and regret the bad. I hope you're happy Laura, wherever you are.
