Just got my FZ two days ago with the WiFi dev board. I downloaded the app on my iPhone and install marauder in two seconds via Bluetooth. So much easier now since the community has grown. But great step by step video.

Subbed, and my new favorite channel. Keep it up man, I just got mine for Christmas and your videos are a godsend! Merry Christmas to you and yours! Also, excellent use of memes, love it. Edit: Getting the message "Preload failed API version mismatch" Any ideas?

That's usually when you have an application that's not been compiled for the version of firmware you're on. I think there was a recent update so it might take a day or two over the holidays if you got the file from Uber

That’s exactly how I bought my wifi board. I saw it and said “yeah I’m probably going to need this” all while having no ideas beyond a deauthor. And I haven’t even used it yet, but this vid should motivate me.

Nice video! i got a question, the Esp2 wifi marauder that you install in the GPIO App is the same that comes when you install the roguesmaster firmware? So if i have already roguesmaster do i have to install Esp2 wifi marauder again?

@@dududjddjehdhdud-ui3yc A Yugo. I could name 1000's. So could anyone.. Anything pre '96, and that's REALLY over-stating it, since OBD2 cars had a single ECU. Apples and oranges. I kinda doubt many mechanics are doing component level IC fixes or know MCU specifics like memory, proc, etc. AND computer diagnostics um, diagnose MCU issues. You're kinda out in left field there. By your logic, my being a network engineer makes me a mechanic too. Cool, thanks!

Quick question since wpa3 basically neutralizes any attempt at deauthentication attacks because of the signed key is there a way to just copy that sign key (by sniffing the packets of any clients connected to the access point) and replicate that in your deauthentication packets?

Can you have multiple firmwares installed on the flipper zero at one time?

Just got my flipper today, noticed this video was a year old at this point, but every step lined up until the part where you go back to applications and click on stable version, that’s not offered anymore just a source older file.

Amazing video, do you think it's possible to transmit fm with a flipper?

I've been struggling with this for weeks, I tried installing it multiple ways but for some reason it never deoaths my network or any network, my network is 2.4ghz and its wpa-2 so idk why it's not working, maybe a faulty wifi board?

Wow, you just uploaded a new video trying what I asked you in the previous video :), about using the WiFi tools with the original FZ Firmware. Was the app somewhat unstable that you couldn't use it? Because you had to install the unofficial one.

So I don't really use OFW that much, so I'm not sure. The deauth attack obviously worked great, if you're hesitant to use CFW then I would try the dev build, might have better results.

@@TalkingSasquach Hi, I've flashed the WiFi board with Marauder and it was a successful installation. Copied the app in the Applications/GPIO and run it. But when scanning nothing appears. In the video did you use the dev build for the Original FZ Firmware? I've also tried the Deauther, but it crashs (null pointer). FM version 0.72.1 I've retried the installation and I get the same outcome. When I plugin the board a sequence of blue-green-red light appear. Is this the normal behaviour? Logs from the Marauder flash: .... Wrote 946800 bytes (639278 compressed) at 0x00010000 in 10.9 seconds (effective 697.6 kbit/s)... Hash of data verified. Leaving... Staying in bootloader. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Process has completed Please disconnect your Wifi Devboard and connect it to your Flipper Zero.

Thanks for this it was really helpful, but a question I have is that if it is possible attack multiple cameras at once with this. I'm not doing it for anything bad just wondering.

You sound super sketchy 😂 but I believe he didn’t target a device. He sent a general deauth for anything in range of the board that happened to be on that AP. You can specifically target a device instead of just anything on the AP though.

I have a bunch of esp32 boards from 3d printing projects. Is there a place I could get the pin outs and build my own boards? I use RM firmware.

Check out Uberguidoz repo and click on the GPIO folder, he's got a bunch. Otherwise you can just Google it, they're pretty easy to find usually

Hey! I'm using a Mac to do all of this, but am getting the following error each time I try to flash Marauder on the the wi-fi dev board: "esptool.util.FatalError: Failed to connect to ESP32-S2: No serial data received." Even though it clearly previously connected to the board. i'm trying to follow the SkeletonMan03 steps. My Wi-Fi dev board's LED is red.. I wonder if that means something is wrong with it?

Is there a different module that does support 5ghz networks? Or other ways to make it work? Great vid 👌🏽

Does this board support 5GHz bandwidth even when scanning SSID's? I thought it was only 2.4GHz stuff that would show up. I mention this because you mentioned the two different SSID's of yours you showed in AP scan. Perhaps I misunderstood?

That means whatever FAP you downloaded doesn't match your firmware version. It is currently bundled in SquachWare if you want to try that!

I can’t flash my board for some reason. When I double click on the flash file it puts all the text in the notes app. I’m on a MacBook. Any recommendations

That's a bit ambitious for the board to do by itself. Theoretically you could kind of do something like this with a multiboard but it would not be easy!

@patriotnurse605 can't remember exactly what I did but I used chat gpt to help me get there. Just keep inputting your errors into it and it will get you where you need to go. Hope you figure it out.

Does this work as well as the Arduino setup? It is so much easier so I hope it is just as capable.

hey im having problems when i run the Scan to to the deauther attack my scan says ' PressBACK to send stopscan ' and i cant even get my personal wifi network to pop up, this is all new to me but i get how firmwear is similar to a OS system but, im doing my best here and this is my first device with these capabilities so im having fun either way :) but i could really use some help thank you! a new very overly detailed video every file type and location would help alot of people plus which apps work with what firmwear/version0.0 and maybe we can make large zip drives that have a esp firmwear automaited preloaded switch to unload one and reload the other so we can pack a memory card full then have all we need so when we start building Frankenstein breadboard's ands we have all the softwear we need loaded all together???? Some thing we should all start to work on it, there's plenty of people that want it we just gotta do it!!

It's possible!

It's my understanding that the deauth attack only works on 2.4ghz networks, and the 5ghz networks changed the way they do things, so deauth will never work on those networks. Anyone know if that's true or not?

5ghz is a different frequency, there is an ESP32 in the works that will be able to broadcast in 5ghz, so it may be possible soon.

i for some reason dont have a GPIO folder in the apps section i created one and then go on flipper and cliick on the esp32 and get an error saying preload failed API version mismatch

I'll double check everything when I get home, it's best to delete your apps folder before installing cfw if you're running into API issues

I have ran into problems since day one with installing wifi dev board.... I tryed downloading python on window to use esptool but I was never able to install it because my pip was installed on a different path but i never could locate my app folder to find pyton. I went to my virtual machine with kali and now every time I try to open the bat file my entire vurtial machine breaks. I can't believe I wasted so much time.

With my Dev board I sort of have to force it down a little for it to connect with my flipper and it will slowly push itself out if you move the flipper around too much. Is the board suppose to fit snug or is it just naturally suppose to do this?

Do you have the case for it? Sometimes that interferes and you don't actually end up plugging it in all the way. It shouldn't come out

I've been hearing about this for ages and so far its vaporware. Anyway, 5ghz has protections from deauth so it wont be as easy

What they're probably referring to is that when you plug in the wifi board, it will brown out the SD card, not a big deal but it does dismount the SD card when you plug it in when the Flipper is on. NBD really

There was a firmware update and with the holidays, the applications on Uber's repo may be out of date. Give it a a day and it will probably be good to go, just make sure you update your firmware as well!
