One day he may see the importance of "old papers" to us journal makers and have another giggle, remembering his Nana and her patience and love in spite of a cup of spilled tea. Absolutely gorgeous, outside and in! The doily as part of the closure is inspired! In my house we call what you did “putting something in a safe place and then forgetting where the safe space is” - only hits after 40 😀. You found it though and that’s the main thing.

Gorgeous journal Carol! Great textures and fabrics. I recently lost my precious garden journal you made me. After scouring the house for weeks it turned up in my working seed bin which is water proof. Makes perfect sense after the fact haha. Big hugs! ❤

Beautiful journal. The kits are a gorgeous mix. Interesting how you felt the need to look through fabrics. Well done Will. I’ve had to use find my phone for the chirping sound to locate my lost cell phone. Inside a quilt project box i had put away. Just roll my eyes at myself sometimes.
