REUPLOAD + BONUS CONTENT The original video was deleted for copy right reasons. ExtremeMusic.Com lets videos get deleted for using the Always Sunny In Philadelphia Theme: Temptation Sensation by Heinz Kiessling. That is unless you pay them $500. I technically critiqued the Sunny title card format for not being subtle at 4:19, but that don’t matter to them. BONUS! For the first time, Seth McFarlane's Flintstones Reboot has art revealed recently. Background art! Skip to 13:00 to see it.

The song itself is public domain, but someone owns the distribution rights to the version they play on It's always sunny (Which I assume is the originals) It's like buying a book that is public domain. If someone makes a cover however, they don't owe anyone anything, BUT that someone can sell that cover of the song.

  • @TemmiePlays

it's not public domain. It's royalty free - you still have to pay for a royalty free track, you just don't have to pay royalties to use it. Reddit can quickly answer this for you, as some ppl assume this is why the show was able to be produced. They merely paid the rights to use the track, it's pretty low.

To be fair, it's nice for Seth to have enough self-awareness to realize his Flinstones reboot wasn't different enough from Family Guy. If it were any other creator, they'd be happy making a clone of their more successful cartoon.

You wouldn't expect Seth McFarlene to have restraint, but judging by what else is on TV, he might be one of the most restrained people in Hollywood. I guess the advantage of being popular is that you can tell the higher-ups that an idea is bad and they actually listen to you.

@@icecreamhero2375 Again this all happened at the height of his fame. By 2013 when this show should have come out things were still okay but like The Cleveland show had been canceled I believe he'd done his disastrous turn at the Oscars and I believe around then was when American Dad moved to TBS. It's been kind of a downhill spiral ever since family Guy not as good, Ted 2 really not as good, million ways to die in the west strongly disliked. I'm honestly curious even if you wanted to do it now would he be allowed to?! I mean he just made comments on James Corden asking when he thinks the best time to end family Guy would be and wow was he vague.

That update was sad though. It was literally what 8+ years since that announcement. Enough time for Seth MacFarlane's star to rise greatly and then come crashing to the ground with a violent flaming explosion. I mean apparently as recently as 2011 (which I think was before the disastrous movies Ted 2 and a million ways to die in the west as well as the complete shitshow that was his Oscar hosting) back when fox said sure we just brought back family Guy here also have the Cleveland show for three seasons guaranteed. And the Orville aside he hasn't had one decent project or any significant project at Fox at all in the last nearly 10 years. I would be curious if anyone would even let him do this flinstone project at this point.

Chris' Savino's Dexter, Powerpuff Girls and Flinstones, have this weird sense of humor in which a joke is dragged on a lot, with a lot of silence and sound effect while moving. That Mandark episode entirely about his laugh is a good example of that. Chowder did stuff like that to. It was kinda annoying. Weird that Savino grew out of it the time The Loud House was made.

The BGs look pretty damn good. Then again, Seth’s somewhat of a stickler for making references to old stuff as accurate as possible, but in this case it looks like more of a genuine artistic attempt as opposed to saying something like “HEH ONLY 50S KIDS WILL REMEMBER”

Actually, Hanna-Barbera's first attempt at the 80's 'kiddification' craze was 'The Pink Panther & Sons'. Which could've been made at DePatie-Freleng, but they were bought by Marvel in the early 80's to for their own animation studio, Marvel Productions. (Not to be confused with Marvel Studios) After that, Hanna-Barbera made 'The Flintstone Kids', 'A Pup Named Scooby-Doo', 'Tom & Jerry Kids', and 'Yo Yogi'. Also, Andy Clark's background art looks very good, and captures the early 60's Hanna-Barbera art style very well. (Almost on par with how Genndy, and Craig's Cartoon Network shows capture the 60's style.)

I'd bet that Tribe Called Quest would win solely for two reasons. (assuming it's actually a fight) 1. They're a group of people, they can take advantage of their numbers. 2. They could summon the mighty skills of Busta Rhymes to help in the fight. It gets real when Busta Rhymes literally Busts a Rhyme even though he was a guest for "Scenario".
