Couldn't agree more! And I can't help the fact that the studio made a raisin replica of MJ for California raisins advertising, which made me consider the Dante dance scene in DMC5 a masterpiece in comparison.

She was still more popular than Clippy. She was second for "most annoying" on that poll after Clippy though. The big problem with Erin Esurance as a mascot was that she was tailor-made for a specific demographic (18-30 year old men--the same group esurance was mainly marketing to back in the day), where she worked really well (some would argue *too* well), but that outside of that demographic she wasn't well-liked. When they were trying to expand beyond their original demographic, they had to get rid of her due to both the porn and the lack of appeal she had outside of that one group

+YearsAnimations I like him too. I lucked out and found an old copy of Windows office 95 and installed it and relocated the file that revives Clippy and some of his friends. There is a flaw though. Because of the Aero effect on modern computers Clippy's background is pink rather than clear.

I personally really hate that insurance box mascot, he's less overtly annoying than Noid ever was but it's still an example of a company bafflingly creating an asshole mascot to push their products.

Fun fact about the California Raisins; The marketer who came up with the idea did so in the bath tub. He'd been in for a while, and was just sitting back, wiggling his toes (like you do), trying to come up with something for his new client(the raisin guys). He looked down at his feet, and wouldn't you know it, he'd pruned up from being in the tub so long. His wrinkly, wiggling toes inspired him to make those dancing, claymated bastards.
