Best cold and dark video I have seen on KZread!

Thanks for the tutorial. This has gotten me into flight simming alot more because now i can fly other planes than the zibo 737. Although i raged after getting it wrong, and slamming my plane into the pacific, i immediately tried again by myself and i did a full flight! Thank you man!

Great video, best explanation ever! I have one question? Can you use the right side of the radio stack to tune in frequencies? If so how do you get it to work say on the VATSIM? Thanks again!

This is a GREAT tutorial. I just got this baby too, and have been too intimidated to try and fly it, lol. BTW, did you ever figure out how to prevent the bus off from happening during pushback and disconnect? Same thing happened to me, but, I ALSO lost all my FMC programming...ugh.

1000 feet you are setting before departure is MFRA minimum flap retraction altitude, there is an minimum altidude when pilots accelerates thair aircaft and retracts flaps during engine failure as it is 1000 AGL, not really AP turn on altitude ;) But anyway great video. Keep doing that king of podcasts

Thank you! Make sense now that I think about it. Above 1000ft I have always noticed the engines rolling back.

Another terrific video tutorial, Micah. Thanks. I bought the 757 Global package a couple of days ago and your video slots in beautifully for the 757-300 too. Like you found I lost all - ALL - data when push back started and it happens every time. Annoying in the extreme so I hope it gets a patch soon. I also saw that the VOR/DME switch wouldn't change to AUTO but found a 'cure' for that. You had your VOR/APP/MAP/PLN button switched to VOR. That seems to keep the VOR/DME as Manual. Turn the button to MAP and the AUTO operates. Very much appreciate your work, Micah.

Help!!! I’m going nuts trying to find out why my flight plans don’t populate altitudes for the waypoints. I’ve setup the KPHX to KSFO many times being as though as I could. Yes I did activate and execute the plan and put the cruise altitude in the performance pages and even got the V speed set. And they are not called out on takeoff. Would love to fly this plane but back to the zibo 738 which I love also.

Wow...I love the gate marks on the ground for the different planes. Question....does auto gate work at every airport? I never see it when I come into a gate flying the Zibo 737 mod. How can I make the Autogate plug in work coming into a gate? Thanks dude! You’re the only guy I watch all my tutorials for. Yours are way above and beyond better than all! Good job my man.

Autogate is only on certain airports as add-ons. There is a jetway system that is for every airport. Its called World Jetways

I find the heading on a chart, doesn't have anything to do with SimBrief. Look up the charts on Skyvector

@@itzyaboijo3940 why not get the free Zibo 737-800? It's a mod for the default and makes it like a payware aircraft. I have done several tutorials on it.

how do i change the altimeter

Micah, the 757-200 I bought from X-Plane.org won't allow several of the instruments and tools in the cockpit to function. I can only select to hold the altitude, adjust the speed, and a few other things. Do you know what the issue could be?

Have you tried restarting X-Plane? Have you tried reinstalling the aircraft? Are you on the Beta version of X-Plane and has the 757 been verified to work with it?

@@MicahMesser I just bought the latest option (757 professional avionics package) and installed that. Still the same results. I'm using the Steam version of X-Plane.

@Micah Messer I even deleted the Steam version and about the digital version from X-Plane's website and still no luck with the 757. I'm hesitant to buy the 767 as I think I might have the same results. Thanks for trying!

Hey Micah I commented on the live stream.. but I can’t load into xplane.. when I do it crashed and says I’m my log that it’s crashed because of the plugin x lua.. and I even deleted out of my plugin folder and it still crashes..

Remove all plugins and see if it runs. If it doesn't, do a reinstall.

My 757 disconnects eveytime I switch from gpu to apu power, I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but it is very aggravating as I have to re-enter some of the fmc info. Any idea why this happens?

Make sure you have activated the APU power button before disconnecting the GPU. Make sure the APU is fully running a good minute before switching over.

Just add it like any other aircraft. Look for the FF 767. It is grouped with a bunch of other aircraft

It provides the needed bleed air to start the engines without having to have the APU running. The LPU (Low pressure unit) provides air for the air conditioning.

I was a VATSIM controller at PDX on GND. I am currently a VATSIM controller at Detroit and Cleveland but I am currently on an LOA. I am a real-world private pilot now, though. lol

Yeah so this tutorial isn’t for me. You move way to fast for anyone to even keep up with you. My plane shuts down the second I turn off the APU even when I have the generators on. Not really happy with this tutorial at all.

You have to set so that the electrical power is being generated by the engines. The apu is there so it can generate power while the gpu is disconnected and the engines are not yet running. If you disconnect the gpu and turn off the apu before you make the engines generate the electrical power, the plane will shut down
