Earlier this year I revealed I was looking into alternative for modelling Drystone Walling on my model railway since I wasn't really happy with the stuff I was using at the time. A lot of you were interested in what I would be using as a result and I'm excited to say I've developed my own flexible drystone walling for use on the layout.
Even better is that I'm making it available for you guys if you want to use it on your own model railway! Being flexible the drystone walling is easily able to bend and follow the contours of the landscape rather than being one straight rigid section. It also has a really nice stone pattern engraved on the side which repeats so you can join multiple sections together to create nice long walls.
I have to admit I'm really happy with how this has turned out. It's been a long held ambition of mine to have drystone walls like these stretching across the fields on the layout and I'm finally able to do it in a way that looks realistic!
