Whoever send you this plane: Thank you very much and thanks to Brian and Camera crew as well of course. :)
Thank you so much for doing the Flex Innovations product review!!!!! After taking a 5 year hiatus from RC planes I am back after unloading 150+ planes. I have limited myself to foam only and assembled 9 new planes in a month and a half including 2 from Flex Innovations. The Flex Innovations planes are better than anything including balsa that I have ever flown. Most of my choices were based on your reviews. You and Meghan are at the top of YT! Thank you again and please keep up the good work with your enjoyably unique style and professionalism!

Thanks Elwood! So glad we can help play a small part in getting you back into the hobby!!!! Flex makes some good stuff, but I with we could work with them on a regular basis
Nice to see you working with Flex.

@@sgcdialler I watch the videos without sound, but thanks for being a douchebag troll anyway
Cool looking bird with a unique sound. Most LED lights are 3 cell thus the need for the battery however you can tap into the balance plug on the 6s battery for 3 cells. You have to make a custom plug using a 6s balance plug. Use the ground and the third cell wire. This gives you 3s off a 6s battery so you can power up lights and not use extra battery. Thx Brian and Camera Crew!
Great plane! I have the 10E night version and the 60E day version. They fly awesome!
Best KZread channel ever
I just ended up scratch buildings my own RV8. It just a little bit larger then this one but I wouldn’t mind giving this RV8 a try.
My current favorite plane. Flex also makes an 1800 6s pack and I believe that it is the recomended one for this plane. It's the only one that I have used. There is a more advanced setting in the Aura that adds crow and a third, pure 3D setting, turning the gyro up more and a "gyro off" setting assigned to a switch. Please review more flex products.
very nice ! tnx for the Joe Nall vid...👍

You're welcome!
That is a badass plane!! I got it too. It does it all. Acro or sport. Great review. Love your channel. If you plug in more than 3s it will blow the lights.
Thank you rob for sending him this plane to review I just ordered me one and got it in finally last week and it flies amazingly and my new favorite go to weekend flyer that I now fly the most. My fms skytrainer v2 and my eflite balsa arf sport plane use to be my two fav go to planes but this is my new go to now

It was super nice of him to do that too!
I run my rv8 on 2200s most of the time. It likes to be tail heavy in my experience. You can also run the lights off the 6s flight pack. They put that warning because too many people aren't smart enough to figure out you need to keep an eye on the cell voltage and balance the pack. You should fly the mamba 10. Its insane
Good lookin' plane. Almost reminds me of a Super Chipmunk a little bit. Come to think of it, kinda surprised we don't see more of them modeled these days. WAY back when, I came very close to getting a Carl Goldberg one, but I ended up building myself a gorgeous Carl Goldberg Tiger 60 4 stroke, and retracts. a full house job.
It seems like it's complicated and confusing at first. But, in my case, that might just be my limited experience and comfort level with HH and FMS. I'm sure building and flying (and crashing) this plane a few times helps you achieve a better comfort level. The looks like it flies amazingly. Great job Camera Crew! Awesome review 👍

C'mon Brain!
Hi Brian. This plane flys well with up to 3000 mah and is still performance oriented. I just plug my lights into the balance plug on the main battery.
Can you review the really big one?
Cool job man.
I do like this plane!! A lot
This is such a nice plane
Very cool 😎
BTW.. It looks like Tail heavy productions is doing flex innovation reviews.
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺
Flys best on 6s 1800mAh battery. The LED's will run constant with a 3s battery, never flashed for me.
I love everything about your videos Quick question from an intermediate pilot here. When you were flying your RV-8 10e, were using the rudder and ailerons during your turns or just ailerons? Thank you. Reid Morse
So Brian, you became a 3-D pilot now!🤔
I fly it on a 2200 mah lipo. Can't tell the difference other than the 2200 has more punch and flight time. Still just as floaty. Just buy a good light compact 2200. I use a Thunder power Prolite-X which only weighs 30 grams more than most other 1300mah lipo. A GensAce 2000mah 6s lip is lighter than most 1500mah lipos and a few grams more than a 1300mah. They recommend a 1300 for 3D aerobatics. You can fly pattern aerobatics with higher MAH No problem as long as the CG is correct. You gotta know the cheat codes, lol.
NIIIIICE 👌
Flex Innoations sells their planes as "Super PNP". Meaning, they all come with Auro FC (to the best of my knowledge) but require use of at least a remote receiver. I've dealt with them a few times for a couple of different planes. They make quality planes and the Aura 5/Aura 8 FC is solid. But customer service is subpar in my opinion, which could be why you haven't heard from them.
Hi Brian…Flex Innovation does not give you the option of buying this plane without the Aura 8.
Please do a video setup on the NX 10 and the Aura 5 lite please.
So I know you did. This some time ago and I am looking to buy RV8 60e. So what do you really think of it. Because I watch a lot of your video and buy if I like aircraft
Review the big orange one!
Don't even try the 4s battery i tried a 2200 and it was sad dead slow, Flex makes there ..own battery for it a 6s 1500 and i does quite well in it. I am impressed. with the time yo.5ur getting out of that hacker ba..ttery . Thanks for he review pal.
Would be cool to take the pilot out and give it some color..
now try its big brother at 6'3" and 66" long and 10lbs flex is good and u can change the aura settings in ur transmitter to or use a pc contact the designer he probably would work with u
Shorts are good too 👍🏻😎🇺🇸
The reason FLEX haven’t answered you is pretty obvious. You’re taking about the very best pilots in the world on their team. The see you as the beginner guy helping other beginner guys set up eflite planes, and their collective egos don’t want to be associated with that. Also we’re talking about a company that wants you to spend $1k before they’ll give you a free battery or hat lol 😂 so they’re cheap and small. But they would be smart to work with you due to your popularity on you tube, and more importantly your setup videos which basically cover everything. I’ve been flying 40 years and still watch your setup vids whenever I need to get a new plane going.

...considering their company has all of under 10 employees total...yeah they have to be cheap.....they do not have the resources of a giant like Horizon.....Quique sets the bar for being arguably the humblest man in the world of RC with the skills he possesses.....not justifiable to blame them not answering Brian on egos...."nailed it" as to the exact *wrong* reason, Brian....you were at Joe Nall.....did you even talk to them in person or ask?

Hi brian and camera crew my beechcraft 18 keeps going up and to the left could you or anyone help me with this issue
Flex Innovations will not sell their planes without the Aurora which is ridiculous.
I wish they would go back to wooden airplanes... Not you but there too many people who buy it and destroy it and this type of foam is truly a environmental hazard. It does not decompose... PFAS Othterwise a very nice design and size
