Dear Brad, I hope this comment finds you well. I am myself a new comer to the baking. I did the research on making bread and read up on the science. I had spent the past 48 hours doing nothing but baking because my bread would rise even after long hours in perfect temperature. I searched everywhere...EVERYWHERE..ALL OVER THE INTERENT..trying to find the issue. "the temperature is too cold! "the yeast is expired and isn't working!" "there is too much salt! Hearing these words over and over again... I have been through all stages of grief; denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance that I had spent a lot some of money on treasures I would never see fulfilled. it was til 5 minutes of writing this, December 12th, 2023 10:38pm PST, that I had found your video deep in the youtube search results and realized my great dispare...THAT FLIPPING YEAST PACKET. GOD DAM YOU GREAT VALUE HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!!!! I would like to thank you for making this video. While the other 65 views may see this as a video that didnt need to exist, it was my calling from the gods in search of answers... is this comment overly dramatic...yes. is this comment written only because of my strong emotion feelings after spending my 2 days off of work making bread that wouldn't work because of the 1 dollar walmart yeast packets.... .. also yes. Wow, I'm so sorry for your frustration. I see you've put in a lot of work, effort and research trying to produce the end product you know you should be getting. Been there done that! I pray this is the solution to your issue. I buy the JAR of fleischmann's now but ran out last week. Went to Walmart to get another jar and they didn't have it, so I grabbed a jar of "Red Star". It seems to be on par with fleischmann's 🤔, but I still think fleischmann's is better. God bless and Merry Christmas 🎄.
