Thank you for all the comments, please appreciate the video was uploaded 4 years ago and the layout has been finished with platforms, station, and engine shed along with grass and trees etc for a while now. I built it for my granchildren to play with rather than play with an x box or ipad or my other layouts:)

I found a table online. A camping store lets you inspect it before you buy it. I am guessing the layout, on the inside, is actually recessed a bit so there is room for the tracks when closed. It appears he has a power source he plugs in that runs the 4 individual cabs. Again, I am guessing each individual cab is wired to each half of the layout. Brilliant job Daniel. I hope I came close in my guess. That’s how I would approach my own version!!! I have grandchildren that are train enthusiast as well! Great idea! Seems DC, isn't it? But would be cooler if it moved at lower speeds, specially the 3rd one since its on yard/station tracks. Sorry when a kid I used to speed them around like you. 🤔 It's more of a toy... Later on I came to appreciate lower speeds and see the springs of the axels of locos & cars moving up & down as the train passed over switches. 🤗 And shunting at slow motion. Great job you've done!! I notice many nice comments. Cheers Richard
