That is a fantastic layout !!! I've looked at the NOCH pre-fab layouts as well, and made a number of track plans based on them with the SCARM software. So far I like the "Heidelberg" layout the best, but I think I am still far away from re-modelling my layouts (too many model cars in my basement yet).

Very nice video! I have noticed that you also soldered the wires onto the outside track for this is a better connection. What are measurements of your layout?

That’s why I went all Arnold track,the dead spots are unacceptable.Imagine all that work and expense,spend the extra upgrade.

Paint those hills with dry brush technik than put glue and throw grey sand upon it

Yeah, "you gotta use everything that you have" even if it caused you to have a little permanent PTSD. And in case you're wondering what that chic in the woods is contemplating...how to get all the guys down off the rock face so she can get a good lay!
