There've been a lot of updates, including a good 30Martial Marshall giving like -30% Army Maintenance, and there are other -Army Maintenance stacks you can get to supplement this strat again

Good video! I liked it a lot, earned a new sub. Since this is your first video, my only critique for going forward is just be mindful of the lip smacking that sometimes occurs at the end of sentences, it is quite jarring. Fantastic job overall, looking forward to more content

Soooo your doing a Russian role play.

levy combat is the complete opposite of regular combat. you want tons of multiple armies, preferrably just small enough to exist without attrition for a suitable time but large enough not be outnumbered in combat. Then you just split into multiple provinces and raid everything at once. When you need to fight just start sacrificing your pods one after another which will lower your warscore but make you money while slowly killing the enemy. Eventually you will either win or lose enough to raise your men at arms without dipping into the negative giving you an extreme advantage with fresh troops over the already battered army, and all you lost were levies which end up increasing your income. Also you will have likely raided many locations which confuses the AI

Problem is though levies are 3 coin a month per 1000. :(

Another minus ia the attrition as most places don't have enough supply fornan army of those sizes

Bruh I can never play this game blobbing that much, the must I'd ever control is a duchy or two sometimes, and leave the rest for my family. so I'd technically control only the duchy of Skane, but the rest of my dynasty controls Sweden, and they help out, sometimes, and that is how I play, propping up my dynasty dudes in random places, tbh That is how I thought the game should be played. maybe you should try it?
