Flaws Exposed: Manny Khoshbin's Office Headquarters
In this video, I take a critical look at Manny Khoshbin's office, which he calls the Palazzo. However, I think it’s more fitting to call it the Crappzo! Join me as I break down everything good and bad about this space and give my honest reaction and critique.
Manny Khoshbin’s Palazzo might look impressive at first glance, but there's a lot more to uncover. From questionable design choices to the display of exotic supercars, I’ll show you why this office might not be as incredible as it seems. Manny Khoshbin's collection of exotic supercars is certainly eye-catching, but does it fit the overall aesthetic of the office?
I'll discuss the highlights and the many drawbacks of Manny Khoshbin’s Palazzo. If you're curious about luxury offices or just want to see some exotic supercars, this video is for you. Manny Khoshbin’s vision for the Palazzo raises many questions, and I’m here to address them all.

As a Carpenter/Tradesman. The amount of detail that went into this building is really honestly incredible. Just difficult for it to stand the test of time with all new modern archintecture. Still very unique imo. And many people put in a lot of hard work into that building.
As a European I almost feel offended when he says it makes him feel like it’s in Europe, mostly because for me (as a European) this is very American (ish). No matter what anybody thinks what matters is that he loves it, it’s his office. Personally I wouldn’t want to be found dead in it but again that doesn’t really matter. Great upload! $82/SF for land is an insane basis in Southern California. He basically bought a free office
I was driving past this building the other day and looked at my GPS out of curiosity, and it said The Khoshbin Company hahaha. i was pretty shocked
I am a Belgian living in Germany and travelled basically the entire European continent, and there is nothing like this in Europe. German has a word for this style; they call it "kitschig," which probably best translates as "kitchy" in English. Selling this as European culture is extremely out of touch with reality. I am repeatedly surprised by what is possible to sell in the USA. :D
This property used to be the site for TBN-the Trinity Broadcast Network. That was a religious television network (Christian) and I vaguely remember that one of the people that was one of its hosts was an old lady that had silver/purple hair. Back in the day, there were rumors floating around that the building actually housed a digital/virtual Jesus. Don’t let the close proximity of the 405 freeway lead you to think that this property is in a bad area. Right across the bridge (the one that goes over the 405) is South Coast Plaza-one of the nicest and most upscale shopping malls. Sure, the buildings themselves are ugly and interior is tacky and gross-but a freeway close 6.2 acre parcel of land that is a rocks throw from one of the most prestigious shopping malls in the country (that is also minutes away from Newport Beach) has a lot of potential. I’m very surprised that the Segerstroms (the family that owns South Coast Plaza) or a luxury group like LVMH didn’t purchase the property. Manny is a shrewd investor. He can use the property until the market allows him to massively profit from moving it. There are homes in that area-so if he could get it zoned to be housing-he could make a killing off of developing the land into luxury apartments..etc.

I live in Orange County. This building is a SoCal landmark. It is highly visible from the 405 freeway, our main artery. TBN acquired it in 1996 and for 20 years it was decked-out with tens of thousands of white lights every holiday season. It was impossible to miss the brilliant, over-the-top white lighting and decorations on the side of the freeway. And given its proximity to South Coast Plaza, on the other side of Bear Street, it became an icon for millions of Southern California holiday shoppers. Our holidays are now a little duller without this huge, white light display.
Surprised no one else talked about how the overuse of mirrors makes the property feel like Tony Montana went in a time warp to the 1700s lol I’m getting very 80s vibes out of some of the detailing, despite them trying to do the St. Petersburg white / gold / green thing you mentioned. Overall a great choice for a video and would love you to do more commercial properties as well! It would be a great way to expand your brand. Would be fascinated to see you analyze some of LA’s commercial buildings such as the Walt Disney Center or something!

Disagree. As Arvin points-out, Manny is just trying to figure-out what to do with this gaudy building for a few years. This was a shrewd investment. This is a super-prime 6 acre property in the heart of South Orange County. It is at the intersection of 3 freeways and 5 miles from Orange County Airport. The current building and use are absurd. Eventually, it will be razed and replaced by a mixed-use or luxury residential high-rise, and Manny will profit quite nicely.

Arvin love your channel, but in this case I'm surprised you did not discuss the history of this building which is at once fascinating and offensive. It is the former headquarters of Trinity Broadcasting Network. Paul and Jan Crouch were the leaders of this huge religious organization which has a bit of a sordid history. If you Google "TBN Headquarters Costa Mesa Images" you will see what it looked like back in its heyday. Frankly, Manny is taking credit for many design elements (if you want to call them that) which were already there. Even more gold in the old days including a gold plated toilet. I took an informal tour of the place back in 1996 and saw it all with my own eyes.

Someone may have already told you the background of this building, but I’ll go ahead and let you know what I know. The building was bought and decorated by Trinity Broadcasting Network, who are well-known for their over the top gaudy decorating style of their studios. They are a group of televangelists who steal money from people who really can’t afford it. Their decorating style represents what they think heaven looks like. As a highly spiritual person, who follows no earthly religion, I certainly hope their vision of heaven is incorrect, because I could not imagine living for eternity within such tacky surroundings. I love your comments! 😊

I'm probably the only one with this opinion, but I don't think it's vulgar. Could have been executed better but there are people who like the Versailles kind of architecture and interiors. It's not necessarily tasteless, there is an aspiration behind it. It's refreshing amongst the sea of modern grey/glass rectangles.

I believe that’s TBN’s old building. It stands for trinity broadcasting network. It’s a major Christian church that was on tv years ago
This building was owned by the crouches that owned TBN a Christian network, they both passed and I believe their kids are grandkids running now and probably figure they didn't need this property anymore. I remember passing by it many times when I lived in Orange county It was hideous then and it is still hideous looking now. They collected so much money from donations they didn't know what to do with the money so they built this monstrosity instead. I wonder how many people they could have helped with the donations they collected instead of building this.

I believe he said a while back he bought it because his car collection out grew the old building and he wanted a property to house all of his cars, set up an office space for him / his employees, hold his classes ect and have adequate parking for his events/courses. That being said, it's ultra tacky & awful looking 😂 sure it'll hold all of his 20+ cars, his employees have offices , can hold his seminars/courses there and has a ton of parking. But God it is awful, it's like Tony Montana from scarface, Donald Trump and a Russian Oligarch got together and said okay what can we do to make this ultra tacky and semi luxurious for absolutely no reason lmao. Who would want their wedding here? The greatest trick is whomever sold Manny this property and convinced him it's an "all in one" building, you have your garage on the left side, a wedding hall on the right side, and on top is the office for Manny. I doubt if Manny will opened his garage to the wedding guests, with kids running around, and when it's time for the bride/groom photoshop, that 405 freeway backdrop, what bride doesn't want that?
OMG all that sound coming from the street! You can hear it throughout the property. The video begins in the patio and all the cars' noise is so terrible. The guy opens the front doors to the entry hall, and all that noise can still be heard! Terrible place to work ou live in already.
