Yes lighting is done deliberately because it's called being professional, lighting is the most important factor in any video.

@@haybentley1 wrong, she has stated before that she doesn't hide imperfections and very openly talks about it. Like I said she does close ups. If you've watched her for a while you'd know this. I'm educated in photography and these areas and know that its hard to make a video look good if you don't have the correct lighting.

Just because it’s a no-makeup makeup look, doesn’t mean it’s actually almost no makeup...I personally feel like the more “natural” makeup looks are some of the hardest looks and most time consuming. You have to sit there and blend, blend, blend until it looks like the product is not really there and it’s just your “natural” skin. With glam looks it’s okay if you’re over bronzed because you’re going for glam. The no-makeup makeup look is definitely challenging in its own way. I loved watching this tips and tricks video! A lot of people are complaining that this is by no means minimal 10 minute routine, but I think Tati’s intention was more to teach different techniques that you can hand pick some and implement them into your own minimal makeup routine. It does not have to be a full blown tutorial that you must follow every step. Pick out what you like and try some of the tips here and there!

Omg finally. I never settle down for a "no makeup makeup look" because it really does take more time than an actual, full face. It just takes a lot of time and effort to try and make everything look natural and seem like you really aren't wearing makeup, and if you just apply products to certain areas, it lowkey looks like you forgot to finish your makeup.

What you should try is glossier’s skin tint it evens out your skin tone and makes it looks natural and you can apply it with your hands if your on the go.

Tati has successfully married both Scott Barnes’ techniques and hers together and I’m obsessed with this routine!!! Yaaaaass queen!

Tati, I have to say thank you for being one of the few who actually shows reviews and does tutorials the average gal can do. You're strength is making browns/neutrals fun. I used to just think if I was doing a brown eyeshadow it had to be simple and boring but my neutral makeup looks so much better after watching you. It's nice seeing content I can use in my day to day life.

I love how calming and soothing her voice is. I feel like Tati has never screamed at anyone in her entire life.

I ADORE your more technical videos. You are an excellent teacher. You explain WHY you are doing the things you do, and that helps it to stick in my brain. Thank you! 😘

PRO TIP FOR THE TATI PALETTE: If you’re creating a look using the poet shade range (pinky/berry toned shades) use the matte poet shadow as a blush! I lightly dabbed my blush brush in the shadow and applied it to my face and it blended beautifully and created such a cool monochromatic look with the shadow. This is my favourite palette of all time seriously I can’t rave enough about it. The possibilities are endless. Tati you KILLED it with this. This is definitely one of those “if I were stuck on a desert island and could only have 1 eye shadow palette with me what would it be?” Textured Neutrals palette hands down.

These types of makeup application tutorials are my favorites. I love learning techniques from you, Tati. I grew up before there was the internet and my Mom and sisters didn't either wear makeup or show me how to wear makeup. I didn't really even start wearing makeup until I was in my mid 30's!!! I've seen this video with Scott so many times, but every time I try it on me, it looks like I'm dirty or I have some huge pigment spot... I'd love to see a dedicated video with close-ups.

I love, love, LOVE vids like this. I need tips for the "snatchural" look cuz that's my real life necessity. Having only 20 to 30 min to get my face done is it, but I gotta say, "Ritual" glitter is amazing!!! It's on my eyes literally EVERY day. Could you please make single shadows so we can replace our favs when we hit pan? That would be awesome. Thanks, love you! 💯💞😘

Love you so much Tati! You need to move the colorful perfumes in the background for a little and put YOUR palettes in the back, kinda like a stack of books on a table! You deserve it. Your palette is my absolute favorite of all the ones I wear. Beautiful product from a beautiful person 💄💖

I am so grateful for your videos, Tati - I have recently only just discovered you and your channel. You had re-inspired me to wear makeup again and learn how to apply it all properly. Getting up,early so I have time to relax and do my makeup is my self care. I enjoy it and it sets the tone for my day. I don’t have all of the perfect products for my skincare needs but I make do & it still feels really good. I enjoy the way this video focused on the technique while giving information on types of products we can use. It really hit the mark for me.

I would recommend anyone who watches Tati to watch Allie Glines as well!! She’s super awesome too♥️♥️♥️

I LOVE your How-To, vids tips and tricks vids. I've been doing more minimal looks a lot lately and I still learned a lot. I'm definitely going to try to heat up and dry the setting spray for sure! I've struggled so hard with that part. Love!!!
