You guys need to make a small one for towing motorcycles. Same concept. Rental companies will love you. It will make it super easy for anyone to ride on with a large/heavy bike straight into a front wheel lock.

Yeah baggers and big touring bikes are sketchy getting them up on trailers especially if it’s just 2 ramps and not a flat ramp to go up.

Problem will be the price per return for that market. Why would someone pay the extra money when a ramp gate trailer from the local store is going to do the same thing

This is a fantastic unit. Wow. First one ive seen that has a more usable weight rating and is ready to party vs just a concept.

Driving up a step ramp to trailer a race car with a 1st gear that can 60 mph is always terrifying. This looks like a racer's dream. Also, always scrape aero getting on/off a regular trailer.

Hell yeah! Keeping my eye out for good ideas to use when I make one for my lowrider!

This is a fire idea for motorcycles and dirt bikes. Loading easy as hell.

A must for hauling the Corvette. It looks almost as easy as paying someone else to haul it.

Now I would love to have one of those trailers

I had a trailer just like that once, but it didn't hydraulic up, it just went gravity down. It was extremely hard to pull when it was loaded so I gave it to my cousin. Art from Ohio

I've used a JGL hydraulic drop trailer for years. Also have a tilt trailer for a crawler lift. They both have their pros and cons. The traction coating on this is a great idea. And the car hauling overcenter feature for door clearance is very useful. Interesting concept.

Nice piece of equipment and good for transporting a rally car. I wonder what cost it is.

Nicely done!!!! The only thing I would change is the brake lights. They seem tuck in too close to the trailer body.....

I wish the back of the ramp was hinged even for a small section so that if your load isn't overhanging you can have the back of the trailer presenting a flat surface instead of that sharp wedge. It would be stupid for anyone to drive too close behind a trailer anyway but this presents a relatively pointed metal wedge that could do serious damage in a collision from the rear or case of user error where the trailer backs into something. May have other functional uses as well

Does the trailer raise to dock height?? If so would be perfect for hauling many types of forklifts..!

I see the upside of using this for a lowered car, only downside would be having to be in it until the trailer is all the way up before you can open the door. Making it a much longer, 2 person operation- unless you can get a wireless remote option.

There was a prototype enclosed FlatTrak built but we are not sure if they will go into production. A lot of people are asking for them so it would be very cool if they started building them soon. We will make a video if we get any in.

My only thought is why did they cheap out with the Jack if your going to have all those cylinders and hoses it’s not prohibitively expensive to throw a hydraulic Jack on too its 2 short whips the Jack and a valve

Ahh yes so many more things to break. Also id love to haul 14k lbs around with that and see how long before it cracks in half or one of the bags or hydraulics blow out and leave me stranded. I have a trailer payed 2k for it and it sits a foot off the ground rated for 10k.

How is the suspension cushioned? Seems like it would be rough if it's just tied to a hydraulic jack.

There is a torsion bar on the axle spindle, Works similarly to the traditional torsion axle.

Just the opposite on this one the concept has been shown on Y T for over a decades by the do it yourself types..

As I know I’m a little late to the party here but what would be great is seeing someone getting in and out of a vehicle. That being said as some of us are not in the 20-40 year range and might be thinking of getting a trailer like this to tow behind a camper/motorcoach instead of flat towing a vehicle.

What does it weigh? How much weight can it haul? If the jack was Hydraulic, or atleast automatic the knuckeled tongue would be pointless. Is there suspension? How harsh or smooth is it compared to a conventional counterpart?

It weights 4,500 lbs and can haul 9,500 lbs.

Ok. I have an old 76 Monaco rv. I'd like to tow my 18 outback....Can't flat tow it. I'd also like to use it with the outback to haul water into wherever in the boondocks I'm camping at. Figure I'm looking at an aluminum trailer and needs to get pretty flat to load the outback onto it. Got anything we can talk about...even if I can't really afford it right now????

These are far from new. Often come across used ones in the UK from the 60s and 70s. Ideal for transporting something like a lathe. Can just roller it on.
