Congrats Capt. on the 9.3 (no no no no 10 even) doormat!!! My favorite flounder bite is when they run for about 20 feet like a redfish!!! Usually in the 5lb plus range. Catch em up!!!

The largest flounder I’ve ever seen was a monster caught under what was left of the old bridge at Ocean Isle Beach, NC where I have fished for 42 years. That fish would have barely fit on top of a standard card table. They auction it off, took it out to the parking lot, and threw it to the guy that won it so he could truthfully say he caught it. It was hilarious! This is the first video of yours I’ve ever seen. Really enjoyed it. I’ve fished in the surf all over the area where you are fishing.

I think it is crazy how there are so many good fish right at the marina. It seems like most people think that you have to travel far to catch fish when they are closer than you think.

I enjoy watching your videos! You definitely seem like a good seasoned fisherman! Now.... Wrightsville beach.... Im born and raised there and ill tell you the truth about WB! Its a beautiful place and great place to fish but the tourist have ruined it!!! Wayyyyy to crowded and wayyyyy to expensive!! Hardly anywhere to park. Parking is wayyyy to expensive. And if you want to use the 1 and only boat ramp there....lol. lets just say you'd better get your boat launched almost a hour before the sun gets up! Honestly. As for the people on WB they are ALL stuck up rich @$$ holes! Alot of them have moved in from out of state with in the past few years.

You say the flounder(paralysis lithiostigma) swims on its side until it's eye migrate to the other side when it's a mature female. You couldn't be more incorrect. A flounder's eyes migrate to the other side and they quit swimming on their side when they're about the size of a quarter, not when they reach full maturity as a female. Whoever you got your information from you should double check before you posted on KZread and make yourself look like you don't know what you're talking about.
