Flat Rock - North Carolina

The village of Flat Rock, North Carolina is small in size but large in significance. We see how the village got it's name; it's connection to Howdy Doody; the poet Carl Sandburg and the Broadway Theater.     We lived in Flat Rock,NC for 7 years. What a beautiful area with also many historical places to enjoy. While we do miss the beautiful mountains, we don’t miss the winters😊. Now settled in Florida and looking at the new historic places to visit.
