Flashlight Bicycle Light Mount (Using an InnerTube)
Ғылым және технология
Flashlight Cycle Mount - A quick and easy way to mount your Flashlight to a bike with an inner tube. Mount your CREE XM-L, XP-G, XP-L LED flash lights on your bicycle, so that you can have bike lights brighter than a motorcycle.

I love that idea, my father always used similar technique to attach the lights on a bicycle.
This mount is amazing. Cheap mounts dont last long they get loose but this free mount is going to last for a little longer Thanks man...
This is legitimately genius. It's simple but actually more sturdy than other mounts I've been experimenting with.

Fantastic idea and brilliant descriptive video. Thank you.
lemme save you som time 6:00
Nice setup man!
Watched your video a few weeks ago and finally got to try it out last night and was pleasantly surprised to find it worked great, I thought it would shake about on the rough track but it stayed steady where I aimed it. Another use for old inner tubes to add to my list. Ile be carrying the band's with me all the time now. Thank you.

glad it worked for you
Thanks a lot for your video I just tried it and that works perfect thank you who needs to spend $100 on bike lights when you go to hardware store and buy a $20 light and just do this brighter 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome Idea man , basically free and highly functional awesome thank you
OK. Found the method that I am going to use :-) I actually bought some mount a while back, but it is too weak and this looks like it will be sturdier than the mount I have. Thanks and happy riding!
Cool idea 💡 😎
Thanks for the information! Love frm India!
So helpful buddy., subscrobed already. 👍👍👍
Great, simple solution! Thanks so much - mounted my light last night and that thing isn't going anywhere. Had problems in the past with wonky mounts. I like how the angle on this set-up is adjustable. Cut a few extra loops just in case and put them in my gear bag. Cheers!

glad it worked
Thank you🙏
Thanks for this idea. In AZ we ride at night because daytime temps exceed 45c. This looks strong and all cyclists have some tubes around.
Kudos for doing this fiddly video. Torches are a great way to light up the road ahead. The idea is to be seen and be seen. A light on your cycling helmet works to get you seen and this idea solves the problem of being seen. I wouldn’t lose sleep about dazzling a car driver because a lot of them don’t like cyclists 😉
Really useful (thanks for sharing) - I have exactly the same problem - Bought the ultrafire 5000LM Zoom XM-L T6 LED Torch and cant find a road bike mount to fit it on a 3.19 diameter bar (the Torch circumference is 10 cm ) - Bought 5 different mounts all diameters are small

I've tried lots of options, but the tube method works - I've been running them this way on all my bikes.
I mounted a tac flashlight with rubber bands and carved styrofoam also rear safety light a tac flashlight with a red laundry soap bottle cap see my Facebook page for pictures I had a mixed bag of rubber bands used the fat ones to mount the head light
It's a great thing for sure also don't have to or need to take them off....at least someone else might need to share em with you LOL
How did this hold up? Considering doing the same to mine. I have a standard size handle bar but my best flashlight is super narrow so I think this would be better.

Just experiment with different widths of tyre strip, The wider the firmer.
Hello, we like your video. Are you interested in testing our flashlight?
They sell mounts for these for cheap...
People who downvote this type of videos are the same that will spend 20 bucks on Amazon for a piece of crappy plastic that does the same job, worse.

No one should downvote a video for showing them a cheap and effective method of making their night journey safer. Especially considering the prices of dedicated bike lamps, that offer the same or less performance of the budget metal, rechargeable flashlights. That said, there are some very good 'pieces of plastic' on the market, designed specifically for fixing a standard flashlight to your handlebar. They offer finer adjustment than the rudimentary elastic band method. Even with the extra spend on a bracket, it can still be cheaper than expensive bike lights. This video is useful because it shows you how to solve a problem quickly, at a pinch, when you have no other option to hand. I will definitely be using this while deciding on the best bracket to buy for extra adjustment and unclipping convenience.
Great idea😀
