I'd like to thank Flashforge for offering me this printer for review. I honestly really enjoyed making this video and all of the work involved.
As I said many times, This is a fantastic printer and I would absolutely suggest it to anyone!

Great video! Thank you so much for the review! This sold me on getting model for my son. 😊
Thanks for the review!
wow, this quality of prints with this printer. I am now completely decided to get this printer. Thank you for this video sir, you are awesome

They just sent me the new version. I’ll have a video for it in a few weeks
That's turning out awesome prints, nice!
Just ordered one of these off of amazon. At the time of this post, they're currently $399 USD for the Adventurer 3 Pro. Based on your review as well as others, and all of the features it comes with...seems like a great printer for the money!

Hey how’s been the printer so far? Any issues?
Great review. Just purchased.
My wife surprised the kids with this printer and it just came in. Looks great outside of the box, but I wanted to make sure that it would do what they wanted. After your video, I am positive that it is a great addition to our kid’s creative space. Great video, thanks!
Also found one of these on Amazon. Down to $339.00 USD (on special however). Excited! Great and informative vid thank you!
Thank you so much

I too, would liked to have seen some explanation/demonstration of the build removal from the glass bed. I emailed FF today to ask them why they insist on forcing everyone to mount their filament externally. All over the sake of 20mm difference in spool size? Couldn't they just made the enclosure or the spool bay 20mm bigger so 1kg spools would fit?
i just picked one up from flashforge ebay page for $468 AUD cant wait to get it!

So how did the purchase go? What was it like setting up to Cura?
Mine cannot print with the raft turned off for some reason and I would like to adjust the thickness of the raft because it kind of wastes more filament than it should but overall I really like this printer
would it make sense to line the plastic walls with soundproofing stickyback insulate for cars to further reduce the noise and maintain consistent temperature ranges?
I wonder if he has solved for how to run the "not specified filaments" like flexible ones etc, or how to solve for PC fumes and such
Should a printer like this be vented as well or is that really not necessary? Thinking to buy this one as a gift for my son and loved your video. Thanks
Can you do a tutorial on removing your prints please! I can't find anything online and I'm about this model and I'm a total beginner.
With the enclosed print area can I get away with storing this in an poorly insulated garage (40F - 100F depending on the time year) or will the variations in temperature warp the printer between seasons and active / inactive use? I'm concerned about bringing it indoors and being exposed to toxic fumes.
Is this good for jewelry CAD models? Working in mm
Nephew is getting this for the holiday, does anyone know if Octoprint and Flashforge updated to be compatible since this video? Also, what is a quality software he should have to use his new printer? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
what would you say the best z height is for the calibration. im having difficulties with it. also whats the recommended bed temp
So glass is way better than the other Adventurer 3 models?
can you put a link to the spool holder?
i having trouble with glass bed i did auto calibration but still raising up the bed and scratch the bed
It has been 5 months. How is this printer holding up? I might buy one.
idk if this is the right place to ask for help but i just got my AD3 PRO and im having bed adhesion issues... any idea how to fix it?
How do you remove the bed?
Which slicer is best? I'm not getting on with flash cloud. I use blender to model
Does the polymer app work for this printer?
Have you tried PETG?
how do you get the pirnt bed off
Thanks for the video. Just got my 3 Pro setup today. My manual unfortunately shows how to remove the bed for the Adventurer 3 and not the Pro. Will you please provide an update on how to do so properly on this model?

@@sterk68 you will have to lift from the right then unscrew from beneath the bed.
I would have liked to have seen a little more detail on the build plate as it's a marked departure and upgrade from the previous Adventurer 3's. And there are a lot of ADV3 owners wondering if you can simply mount the new build plate and surface onto an existing ADV3. It would make a worthy upgrade IMO.

It's actually quite nice. It's very similar to Anycubic's Ultrabase. Just a quick wipe with IPA cleans it up and it's ready tp print. I used no additional adhesive on any prints, including the ABS ones.

Had Flashforge officially announced this yet? I can't find any reference to it online at all. Kind of odd that they would come out with something like this when the Adventurer 4 is being released next month. Maybe this is just meant as a lower cost alternative to replace the regular Adventurer 3?
@Versus3D
3 жыл бұрын
I apparently released the video a little too early. I'm sure the info will be available soon. As far as the 4 goes, it's a bigger build volume so this is still an alternative for people who want a smaller build volume or schools and libraries

Is this bed removable? Brand new to printing and I bought this model but cannot figure it out. The documentation / community around this is pretty sparse. Every other video I’ve seen has the version with the slide out flexible bed…

You probably have figured out that the glass plate Pro is not removable (that I can tell!). I use a cheap razor blade paint scraper to remove models (doesn't take a lot of pressure, gently push under and pry on multiple sides as needed)

Thx for the demo, but unfortunately I think that the unremovable bed is a very bad idea. I see a lot of troubles from other tests and despite this printer is $250 on FF website, I hesitate - seems that the Adventurer 4 solves this main error with a removable bed.

Ca n it print TPU?
@Versus3D
3 жыл бұрын
I only tested PLA, PLA+ & ABS. To be honest, I don't think this would be great at TPU. The extruder is on the looser side, plus it being bowden, I'd say there are probably better choices. The Creator pro prints TPU like a champ as it's direct drive.
