To give this moment too much praise, the metaphor from Joe about planting seeds and seeing how they grow is the entire point of this Red Death Arc. Including the villains (Hotness, Pied Piper, Goldface and Grodd) represents how Barry putting his faith in people and believing in good actually can pay off. The peak of this is him getting back his speed from Grodd. Celebrating one of the flash’s greatest attributes.

His biggest plot point was bringing The Flash back full circle but he couldn't do it, Barry should have disappeared in the last episode or should have made him the true Positive Speed Force avatar, a la Loki at the end of the Loki series. He half-arsed the introduction of the rest of the speedsters from the comics, making Max Mercury one of the last speedsters to come about and ruining Wally West. He fucked Flashpoint by making it last one episode, and trying to say that a future Barry was the antagonist when he was actually an alternate timeline Barry. Savitar could've appeared at any point in time during the show but Eric Wallace tried to make him a product of Flashpoint, which didn't work because he wasn't *our* Barry. Don't defend shitty writing just because you love The Flash. If you love him you should understand why Eric Wallace ending the show was long overdue.

I didn't know swinging was exclusive to Spiderman. Batman is seen swinging in 1939 comic cover hell even Robin in 1940 batman is also seen swinging along side his prodigy Spiderman didn't even invent the concept of swinging let alone exist. There are characters that predate both batman and Spiderman like Zorro who are seen doing it. Red death is not trying to be like Spiderman she's simply using the skills found in the batfamily's repertoire in how they've traversed the environment since their inception.

@@buincqv67 Batman uses his grapnel to disarm and knock out opponents he can also be seem ensnaring enemies in various mediums (mostly using the the bat rope) this extends to the batfamily with nightwing, robin, red Robin etc. Though less than Spiderman he and many others use it nonetheless. Catwoman is another that comes to mind (with her whip) and so does wonderwoman even though she doesn't swing with it she utilizes it in combat.

@@azamat9842 why is is dumb? Speedsters in the comics could create speed force constructs, similar to Green Lanterns, only that Speedsters constantly had to reapply speed force into their constructs. In the show, they use constructs a lot more. Red Death is Batwoman, who uses a grappling hook. It’s pretty intelligent use of CGI.

Ok that was actually a good speedster fight. The best one in a LONG time. The red death running couldve looked better, not a fan of the speed constructs, and the camera angles could've been more zoomed in like early seasons, but it's actually pretty good. Although the camera could've zoomed in, I liked how it showed is the moves of the speedster without having them slowdown. And the lightning while running? They don't stop every 5 nano seconds to punch each other, no matter how cool it used to look.

This fight caught me off guard with how good it was in terms of the cg animation and camera! This is definitely what I’ve been hoping to see and it proves that the vfx team has still got it! The impact of Barry’s tackle and how it sent her flying was AMAZING, really showing us the damage a tumbling speedster can do! 👌👌👌

I mean they did hire a new vfx team for season 7 after season 6, but I agree, they did improve in this season, and the cinematography has improved a lot this season. I just wish we got a season 10 to see what they can do for more speedster fights like this. But I hope they go all out with the series finale.

The best part was near the ending of Part two when Batperson says "If you need me, you know where to find me" and my mind replied "Yeah at the bottom of the TV ratings list.

I really liked the fight but the times when it was a birds eye view Flash and Red Death looked/felt really slow, like they weren't going long distances very fast at all, looked as fast as cars move through a city. I do wish they also that frantic pov camera work through the city that they used to do it was always so cool to see and showcased the chaos of their speed. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

See this is the type of speedster fight i wanted for negative thawne vs barry One where they actually race around the city and exchange blows instead of just throwing out lightning

Gahdamn the cgi is amazing but wished they brought back the old lighting affects and a better villain lmao

I think I just realised the main issue I've been having with the fights as of late... Speed doesn't feel fast anymore During the vight between Barry and zoom in S2 E18, the camera tracks them through the city alongside them; we see cars and buildings whip past us in the blink of an eye Once they start fighting inside star labs tha camera tracks over the top of them, but every time one of the speedsters pass it, it shakes! They look fantastical but they FEEL real. There is weight and impact to their powers that is effectively conveyed to the audience Here, everything feels... Static. Sure, we see buildings pass, but the camera is entirely still, it makes it look less like speedsters racing through streets and more like actors running on treadmills in front to greenscreens, it just feels so flat

you're right. that's the problem. but also they dont use treadmills anymore. t hey stopped after the earlier seasons. which is why everyone's running looks goofy except grant's which makes sense since he has more experience doing the fake run. the parts where it zooms out are mostly cgi models. which makes it seem like it's good running. but close up you see it a bit off.

Red Death's run def better than impulse's

the fact that she has speed tech weapons is astonishing

Finally, as the final season came, CGI has gotten justice.

The fighting choregraphy sure has improved.

You got this flash

For a while, I was severely underwhelmed with the direction of these fights. Not particularly just the CGI, but the way they filmed these sequences. So more or less, they upped their game REAL GOOD with the last couple of minutes here.

i hate that barry lost but this such a good fight and barry's lighting looks cool

What a beautiful scene of the battle of the Red Death with the Flash. The run of the Red Death is just perfect, I am incredibly pleased to look at it, I would venture to say that this is the best speedster run for all the seasons of The Flash +The graphics are very good

Man i wish we got more red death vs flash this arc was kinda dissapointed

The flash suit looks pretty cool actually. Haven't watched in ages.

For someone who didn't notice, Red Death didn't shoot a boomerang, she shot a batarang.

Why was this fight actually kinda cool

She’s good… she might not have the right amount of speed but she’s got good combat skills to make up the difference

One of my favorite fight scenes in a long time it was actually pretty damn good

I think the difference between RF and other speedsters is that even if team flash ruins on of his plans thawne always comes back with a surprise but other speedsters they only have 1 plan and if that's ruined they can't do anything else

@minecraft ejderhası unlike other artificial speed, red death's speed is being injected to her suit, barry and meena's artificial speedforce machines are being injected to their cells same with the velocity serum.

And then somehow….Grodd lost his powers to Cecile /j

The red deaths running was probably one of the best running scenes in season 9
