Interesting fact about CW Savitar; he’s actually a lot faster than barry in any point we see him. Although without his suit he can’t run faster than barry could in that moment, his suit allows him to deal with the strain of running faster than that, which barry got around by other means after.

@@YikYik-bv1bi did you listen to the show? It’s explained that he’s able to travel faster with the suit due to its composition. Why do you think Barry was able to match his speed when he wasn’t in it? The show kinda wrecked the idea when Barry returned faster in the next season, but yeah they state it outright that his suit allows him to travel faster without damaging his molecular structure. So he technically is as fast without it, but he’d die.

Season 1: anyway thawne would not kill him becouse he needs barry only in the finale but Eddie saves him thats not plot armor Season 2: zoom was unstoppable but had his limit using thawnes tech he was faster than zoom so from that point he should not have died. But when zoom first strikes he should have been dead that was plot armor

They tried to force comical and futuristic elements in the suit. S6-suit was a breath of fresh air but S8 had too much gold+future+comic elements to it.
