Like when Barry stopped a black hole then got folded by ultraviolet. @@jelousjake3500 To be fair, most of Flash's Street level thugs are essentially based off a trap that he just doesn't notice before he gets tripped up or something. Friction is necessary to move fast, so Cold removed it from the ground, Mirror Master can catch Flash off guard any time he's near a reflective surface, and stops moving for a couple seconds, plus he can scatter mirrors wherever he likes to a similar effect. Some of the others it is weird he can lose to them, but Cold in particular has a valid reason, assuming (and this is key) that he sets up his measures to deal with Flash on his way in to his current heist rather than once Flash is already there. It's when he waits until later that those guys also cease making as much sense.

This is the problem with the Flash as a hero: there is NO WAY any non-speedster could possibly beat him. He's too fast. Superspeed might be the most OP superpower in the world, and it's why every season seems to bend over backward to make Barry almost inept. That's the only way they can create any sort of conflict.

@@someperson904 Villians with those exact powers, besides the freeze time, are almost season level threats not one or two show level, especially the reality bender. people with the abilty to freeze time for example always have some nuance like its a weapon, or controlled via mind. Even in those cases if they make the flash have the speed he should, he could blitz before the mind could percive what was even happening.

This might actually be the best Barry has been in a long time. Seeing him toy with the villains, just having fun while they try to outsmart him as he confidently finds multiple different ways to defeat them is just so satisfying. I really hope that they keep Barry like this for the rest of the season.

I love how finally they're actually showing us that Barry is faster then the previous season. They always show us that Barry got super fast at the end of the season but at the start of the next season Barry is back to being slower. Hopefully they keep him this fast and dont slow him down.

Introduce a detective with whom barry could work side by side and the aspect of hiding the secret identity would come back and more crime solving plot as well. THIS is the type of flash they should’ve had throughout the 7 seasons they had. Though I doubt they’ll be consistent with this and he’s finna be slow right after this.

Finally no one needs to tell flash what to do.

We've all been waiting for a more confident, acting Barry Allen on the show, and we finally got it after so many episodes of him getting tossed around.

With everything Barry has learned throughout the seasons he can easily take out almost anyone he goes against. It’s that he doesn’t because of plot armor. If he utilized his OP powers to the fullest it would be too easy and no entertainment

Finally he uses his speed on the villains instead of talking to them

I actually love how Barry’s just walking in his flash time, really shows how one with the speed force he truly is, Ik in every version Wally is the most connected to the speed force but this version is definitely Barry

They tried to make them more like their comic counterparts instead of bank robbers with hockey masks with poker design or the motorcycle thieves with helmets with power theme seen on Episode 11 of Flash Season 1.

He didn’t outsmart them. Once he slowed time he pretty much won and there was nothing either of them could’ve done to stop him even if they knew exactly what he was gonna do.

This man just walks to defeat them 🤣🤣

I gotta say I liked Arrow's version of the RFG more, less puns more family drama with machine guns.

Barry's mind may not be as fast as when he had enhanced cognition, but it is still too fast for a telepath.

I love how this shows how fast he is. He ran a prisoner back to iron heights in 2 seconds, beat the villains like it was nothing, and then he ran back to wherever he was storing the Metahuman cuffs, which I believe to be Star labs, and put them on the Royal Flush gang in a second! For those who may say he had the cuffs, if you slow down the video you can see his lightning trail speeding out of camera and then speeding back in, suggesting that he ran back to get the cuffs.

On the show? Sure. But, technically, as a character, "Cisco" is a knockoff of "Chester". In comics, Chester P. Runk was on Wally West's Team Flash as a high-tech expert starting in 1988. For some reason, the producers re-purposed another character, Paco "Vibe" Ramon, to fill that niche. Tech-guy "Cisco" Ramon has nothing in common with the original Paco Ramon other than being Latino and (eventually) his powers.

That’s the thing with the flash. The dude is actually the fastest man alive but then forgets it. No one except for other speedsters and Superman should be able to see him coming.

Any comic fans notice that there’s one member of the Royal flush gang missing they’re also weaker because ace the one that’s missing was genuinely terrifying since she can alter perception of reality and make basically a whole world that would kill everyone if you wanted it had a bunch of telekinetic abilities

I'm always amazed by how long it takes speedsters to beat some enemies. Even the slowest speedster can move faster than most people can comprehend, they could easily run in and take them out in seconds. Instead of running in, chatting for a second and then getting pummeled just slap the meta cuffs on them as soon as you arrive then immediately speed them to an antimeta cell. Even someone like snart, you speed in take the gun and have him in a cell before he has time to say flash

Green Arrow: Gotta think fast to be fast. The Royal Flush Gang, they were already beat the moment The Flash showed up, like in order to beat The Flash, they have to move, think, and act faster than him, but they weren't able to. When you're battling someone who can move, think, and act way faster than you, there's not really much you can do. You could say this battle was over in a FLASH.

I mean key stone is 500 miles away The average train has around 80 people not only that he had to get everyone to a safe distance and there was two trains plus make it back to central city all in 12 seconds that’s a total of 320 round trips back-and-forth on the train Plus the trip to Keystone and back is 1000 miles he did all that in 12 seconds without trying at all and that’s already put some at Mach 123 so I hope so
